  • This reminds me of when we went to watch Ajax while we were in Amsterdam.
Johnny Foreigner could buy a special ticket which included a few free drink tokens and a scarf if you went there and bought it the day before the match.
We all stood out like a sore thumb, apart from yours truly sat with her pink cafc scarf and hat combo. Well I’m not wearing another football teams scarf for no bugger!

I don't attach any significance to this, but for curiosity's sake...
Judging by the way the bloke behind him is leaning forward, all it really confirms is Andy Marshall has a fat arse.

    A seat for every post

We have now filled The Emirates (60,260)

Next up is Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (62,062) expected on page 2,069. Lord knows what @happyvalley will be posting by then as even the foreseeable future will be too far forward.

What, Jacko & Marsh are both folding their arms?

Could have been a fancy dress stag do where they all dressed as downtrodden supporters.

Or they’ve done it for a bet in the knowledge they would likely be photographed being sat behind the dugouts and are now pissing themselves reading this thread.
  • As far as I can tell none of them have a beard, that tells you all you need to know.

Watch and learn Tony, watch and learn.
  • I don't actually mind Roland's low wages stubbornness.

Obviously, he's purposely doing that for selfish reasons and it has caused us significant problems in the past and present.

It inadvertently improves the squads attitude though, in my opinion.

The players that want to be here....are here.

They want to play football and want to be competitive.

The understandable problem is...if they get offered more money to go elsewhere, they will reluctantly leave, because money is too important and useful to turn down...in regards to their personal and private lives.

It has a strong good and bad side to it.

    Roland is irritating as hell.

I was sort of reminded of that while writing this post...

    Was that an order???  ;)
  • As to foreigners, there was a group of around ten sitting near us in the West Upper on Saturday. Middle-Eastern appearance? Once or twice they broke out into some kind of weird football chant. No idea where they came from but they seemed to be enjoying themselves and were obviously supporting us. Saw them again after the game standing outside the main office behind the West stand. Any ideas anyone? By the way, they did not look like potential buyers!!!
