Come on guys show some ambition. I understand the love for lawrie but I'm more interested in players to get us out of this league.killerandflash said:

I love the fact that his twitter status says Used to be shite but now I'm alright3 -
Lawrie Wilson has over 100 apps in the second tier and just won promotion with Bolton. He's more than capable of contributing to a promotion push.16

Always gave his all. Not the most technically gifted, but more of a 'proper Charlton' player who seemed to care.9

Wilson is a very decent player at L1 level, only 29 as wellBoughtonaddicks said:

Maybe they found some ambition from somewhere.0 -
Kurt Abrahams, a 20 year old South African. Perfect for us with our links with that countrygolfaddick said:

Could be his agent trying to get him a league move.1

I don't remember anyone at the time thinking Cumberbatch was particularly good0

We have got so many players on the payroll who we are desperate to offload.
The problem is that they are on good wages and are in no hurry up leave.
This means that unless we can manage to offload them Roland is unlikely to spend any significant money on new signings.
We will probably have to make do with a few free transfer players plus a couple of loanees.
If that's the case I don't expect next season to be any better than what we have just witnessed.
Depressing or what.3 -
Increased bid for Holmes being reported by a few but pretty sure it originated from Kent Live. Won't post a link.3
-
I really believe that we will sell Holmes and probably a couple of younger rising stars and end up with a few cheap buys, network transfers and a few loans.
If that does happen they truely have learnt nothing.
I will wait and see before even contemplating renewing our two season tickets because if we have no ambition what is the point.
By the way I really hope I'm wrong.3 -
I doubt you are far wrong there. Anything better would be a bonus, I'm 99% certain they won't do enough to even get a decent shot at promotion.Hartleypete said:I really believe that we will sell Holmes and probably a couple of younger rising stars and end up with a few cheap buys, network transfers and a few loans.

That would be an interesting drive...1

With falling revenue streams, large wage earners still blocking the books, no big saleable assets and a repeated confirmation we will never again have the same losses as just reported there is no reason to think anything more positive than your post above. The only people that do are KR and Colin I think.Hartleypete said:I really believe that we will sell Holmes and probably a couple of younger rising stars and end up with a few cheap buys, network transfers and a few loans.
