I really believe that we will sell Holmes and probably a couple of younger rising stars and end up with a few cheap buys, network transfers and a few loans.
If that does happen they truely have learnt nothing.
I will wait and see before even contemplating renewing our two season tickets because if we have no ambition what is the point.
By the way I really hope I'm wrong.
With falling revenue streams, large wage earners still blocking the books, no big saleable assets and a repeated confirmation we will never again have the same losses as just reported there is no reason to think anything more positive than your post above. The only people that do are KR and Colin I think.

I'm afraid you're right. We, as fans, will continue to be punished with an ever-worsening team in order to pay for RD's gross incompetence and negligence in the transfer market 2 years ago. 4th division here we come.
Southend have announced David Mooney, Luke O’Neill, Frank Nouble, Zavon Hines, Jason Williams and Jordan Williams will leave this summer as their contracts expire.
I hear that Chris Wilder is interested in having Ricky Holmes back in the fold. Anyone else heard that?
I heard we accepted their bid on May 8th, but the cheque got lost in the post
Ive got it on good authoritiy that it's the price that's the problem. Sheff Utd want to pay £500,000, KM thinks that is too high and should be nearer £100k. Bottom line is if Sheff Utd insist on £500k, KM will insist that Holmes gets an 8 year contract, we pay 90% of his wages and any win or goal bonuses.
He was player of the year after all, and it's only fair we reward him.
The good news is we're getting a one armed Sheffield united ball boy on an emergeny 28 day loan....starting from tomorrow.
Not sure if it's been mentioned but one of our ITK bloggers has said that David Martin has been offered a 2 year deal and double the wages to sign for you. The guy who mentioned it is usually pretty accurate with his info, especially when he actually mentions a player's name. Last few he's mentioned involving us have happened.
I'd say it's near enough nailed on that he'll be signing for you.

should sack his agent. Quadroupling his wages and a minimum four year deal is what we normally offer.

If only we had the ambition.
