I did a great game yesterday, 3rd vs 4th in the Prem, and Tunbridge Wells won the thrilling game against Blackheath by 1 wkt inside the last over. The game swung all day and either side could have won. It was a day for keeper catches, 8 taken, and three dropped. Some brilliant bowling, dogged batting, and indifferent fielding from both teams. Intense game to umpire too!

Think Old Colfeians 4s may have left it slightly too late to rescue ourselves from relegation, sadly, given the forecast might do us over next weekend.

My last season at the club, too - after 19 seasons(!) I'm moving to Guildford early next year so will be joining a club there that's more local.

Good luck with the move Paddy ..by all means you can leave OCs but you can only check out on CL

Our twos stopped back to back relegation with a comfortable win v chelmsford 4s who are as good as down.
my first game in a couple of months due to a knee injury got 7 overs in no wickets for not many and felt ok but overnight it’s flared up again aaaah done loads of rehab etc so hopefully it will settle as quickly as it flared up.
our ones look like being relegated their in a 3 way battle for the last relegation spot and are currently in 2nd bottom so have to win against second placed who can’t win the league and hope one of the other two don’t win.

we've been so short of players all year and then this weekend we had soooo many availability’s , madness the fucking seasons nearly finished where the heck has everyone  been

End of an era at OCs for sure! The two of us agreed last week that we should try to play together again before Paddy left (for now) and the stars miraculously aligned a few days later. Fittingly, it proved to be a good day out for both of us and the team.

Our ones was probably the only game that went the distance our way , was the only one in the Prem division and they needed a win to stay up.
Tons of sawdust and neutral umpires so all fair and the game was reduced to 39 overs 
and second placed Springfield got 149/8 with boffin taking 3/31 in 7 overs 
we got to 119/5 and 142/8 my son was in at 9 and was the last wicket to fall 5 runs short , gutted for him.
He never drinks but 4 of em ended up having a depression session till 5am at the ground still not seen him , he’s supposed to be seeing his bird over in Surrey , don’t think that’s happening!

Final weekend of the season but no massive twists and turns.

In the Premier Division, St Lawrence & Highland Court secured the title by beating Blackheath by 19 runs. Runners-up Hayes defeated Minster which had the knock-on affect of sending their opposition down. Whitstable beat Bexley by 2 wickets ensuring their Premier status and meant that Lordswood join Minster in going down. I'm not sure anyone had those two clubs on their relegation bingo card.  

In the Championship, Gravesend retained their top spot by beating Broadstairs by 64 runs and will be joined by Bickley who needed to score 200 but went one step further by defeating Bromley Common by the relatively narrow margin of 12 runs. A remarkable turnaround for Bickley given they lost three of their first four matches but then only suffered one defeat in their final 14 games. Beckenham and Dartford are relegated to Division One and will be replaced in the Championship by Kings Hill and Chestfield.
