I'll settle now for the fact that he has been an absolute revelation!
I doubt any of us who watched Lee's playing career (often from behind the sofa) would have guessed how his managerial career would have planned out even this early into it.
I mentioned last week after reading their forums, that the criticisms of Bowyer are eerily similar to what you read on here.
Mainly around persisting playing 3-5-2 without any proper wingbacks. But there’s many more if you read in isolation you wouldn’t be able to determine which forum/club it was from.
They would be in the relegation zone if it were not for Derby and Reading, so expect he won’t be in charge next season.
I do look at clubs like Birmingham and wonder quite what their owners expect their managers should be achieving, given how dreadfully run the club is off the pitch.
Fans are in revolt, they barely have any players worth anything, and by all accounts the owners don't want to sink any more money in.
It's a basket case of a club at the moment and survival is probably about as good as you could expect for them to achieve this season. The issues at that club run a lot deeper than the manager
Birmingham are a mess off the pitch too, as they have 2 stands which are "going down". It's rumoured that the lower tiers of the Kop and Tilton, which have been closed all season, will have to be rebuilt, due to structural failings
Interesting that CJ Hamilton scored against them tonight and is now plying his career in the Championship having spent most of it at Mansfield Town. He certainly tore Purrington a new one.

They're the two new stands as well, albeit probably 20 + years old now.

Agreed. When manager after manager fails, you have to look further than just blaming one man. Birmingham's highest finish in the last 6 years is 17th.

Filled my car up over the road from St.Andrew’s yesterday and then saw Josh McGuinness at the services with the Wigan squad on the way home from Birmingham, it’s a sign I tell ya

..whilst they're happily blowing bubbles.
I love LB but I'll never forgive him for making me watch that Pratley & Watson partnership.
Millwall, jumping ship before they get a pasting.
