Fully expect Palace to win this which will effectively see them safe for another season. It would take at least a month for them to drop into the relegation zone by the time 8 other teams or so can overtake them should they win today.
Should they lose then they're still in the mix to go down although West Brom and Huddersfield are starting to look like certainties for the drop now while Brighton bought some more time with yesterday's win and Swansea are still deep in trouble despite an upturn in form.
It's typical Palace even after losing the first seven they're going to be bailed out by mid table regulars Southampton, West Brom and Stoke having below par seasons.
Would love to be proved wrong but in the cold light of day we all know ooaahmortimer is always right on this thread.
Get in there....Still think Palace will win. Still got a dive from Zaha to come (although Gayle does it too !!) and I am still angry that West Ham should have won here earlier in the season when Antonio gave the ball away in the last min. Mind you I hate West Ham as well. My ideal 3 would be West Brom, West Ham and Palace, but think it will be Stoke, Huddersfield and one other.
Exactly. I am still fuming that West Ham didn't win here when Antonio gave the ball away last min. Mind you I hate West Ham. My ideal 3 would be West Ham. Palace and West Brom. However, I think it will be Stoke, Huddersfield and one other (possibly Swansea)
Mrs just asked me if I dislike Palarse more than the Spanners and I said 'No love they're like an itch which won't go away, but I could if they equalise'
Typical Palace. Lino and Ref don't give a free kick on Diame for being hacked down yet lino gives a free kick for shirt pulling 5 mins later. 2 of their players such as Kabaye, everytime they lose the ball or going nowhere they just fall down and get a free kick, cheating diving scum.
That's 6 penalties for them this season, only Everton have been awarded more. They've only conceded 2 penalties.
Last season they were awarded 7 and conceded 2. Over the same period only Man City have been awarded more penalties which isn't surprising when you're the best team in the country and dominate with so much attacking pressure. That alone is proof Zaha's diving antics go rewarded. No justice at times.
Still watching a game at Selhurst in UHD for the first time and you still can't polish that turd of a ground.
I turned off the radio shortly after they equalised, it was deathly quiet until that point and I had wondered whether the Ultras weren't there as it is school tomorrow. Then they scored and they started their dull repetitive chants. "NIGELS" ETC.
This was a game palace thought they would win.on the balance of play they probably should have. But they didn't and are still in the mix. Come on Everton next Saturday.

Just to add. Anfield looks far better in UHD than Selhurst. Not to mention the pitch is a vast improvement than Palace's too. Selhurst is just a turd you can't polish.
After the inevitable penalty, I was expecting a late winner for Palace. With their domination of most of the match, that can be considered 2 points dropped for them really

Looking forward to this one.
Come on Newcastle

Hahahahahaha
That said, Zaha will no doubt dive soon and get a penalty
Keep believing people
One way traffic now. Painfully inevitable late winner on the way.
