I have no idea what’s going on. Anyway... try again.
I think it Might be to do with how he came on here and on a match thread copied and pasted private messages about the criminal investigation that was going on at the time. Putting private stuff on here for all to see when it was at a really critical time for some people. He got the match thread pulled for the first time ever.
Really crap behaviour from a poster which caused a lot of stress.
On journalist, Josef Croughs' FB page you'll find comments from Duchâtelet on the launch of ROT.
Most of what he says has already been published by Het Belong van Limburg. However, not seen by me before is a classic Duchâteletism where he says - "In November last year, the ROT action group (Roland Out Today) announced with great bravado that they would unleash a big protest against my person at the stadium of Stayen. In the end it was all about three so-called frustrated STVV supporters and a dozen English supporters, which caused the action to dry up quickly. That they now want to stand up with a political party is too crazy for words."
He really does love to invent his own unique reality in order to support his narrative. The ROT is setting in.
It was more than a dozen. For a Maths fan he is not very good at counting, which might explain his confusion as to what is a fair price for Charlton after his ownership.
Yes, unfortunately he’s a disciple of @NapaAddick as well as Alan Turing

Bl00dy hell - almost 2 years now.! The club has declined still further to even lower depths since then - how much further in another 2 years? - i can see mid/lower L2 by then. All RD is doing is keeping the lights on right now. When is he going to switch them off?

Actually I think he does mean the March 2017 protest and I’ll explain why. The march itself was prevented from reaching the stadium by a barrier placed by the police......we were some 150 yards or so from the stadium itself, which was rather frustrating to say the least. The march gradually broke up and sadly all the coach passengers had to immediately get back to the coaches leaving only a few of us who were able to stay on.....I’d say around 25 max. I don’t know where the complimentary tickets came from but at the barrier some were distributed to those who wanted to enter (this all took place some 45 to 60 minutes before kick off). I was with Addickted and his son......(we stayed overnight).....completely by chance we had met up earlier with el-pietro in a cafe in the main square. When we got inside we were seated with about 4 or 5 Addicks opposite the main stand where Goldfinger obviously sits. I don’t know how many comps were given out......but I’m left puzzled to this day why they weren’t all together. Was this a clever ploy to keep us scattered I wonder? Frustratingly, on the day, Goldfinger would have seen and heard only a tiny handful of us from start to finish as he was of course in the stadium and at no time near the protesters. We tried our level best to make as much noise as possible, which at my age I couldn’t make much of a contribution to. I was vaguely aware that there were some other Addicks who were also trying to make a bit of noise off to our right somewhere, but to be honest the protest inside the stadium was sadly much as Goldfinger described......very low key and half hearted......to the point of non existent. 95% of the protestors were infuriatingly already 50+ miles away on their way back to Blighty! For any planned future protests we must look into this as the vast majority of St Trudien fans would have no idea a march even took place. We were very cleverly manipulated by the police from start to finish, which for me was bitterly disappointing. But for all that, make no mistake, the publicity it made both at home and abroad more than made up for the rather limp effect it had at the stadium. We must also take on board that demonstrations of any nature in Belgium were at that time not at all welcome. I believe the entire country was on high alert re terrorist activity, so we were pretty lucky in someways to have got to do what we did. So in short (and this is only my opinion), the march itself didn’t achieve that much on the day but the publicity that followed most certainly did! Let’s not forget all the planning and ground work that went into this project.....we owe a huge debt to all those who took the time and effort to get things as far as they did! UP THE ADDICKS.....a red till the day I die......and beyond............. if I’m lucky.

Not one bit Airman.....and indeed, I went out of my way to say so did I not!
Luck had nothing to do with what happen on the march that night as will do doubt come to light when the whole story is told when this episode of Charlton,s history is written. Everyone has a take on what happen and i respect how you see it,but the only plan for that night was to march in force from the centre of Sint Truiden to the ground and get as much publicity as we could.
However two things are certain the first protest in Belgium had that number in Sint Triuden involved both with the purchase of tickets and protest in ground FACT.
Protests in Sint Truiden against Roland will not go away UNTIL he sells Charlton and The Valley in full.
It was good to speak to you in Sint Truiden last march ask Addicted about us.
We were asked not to protest inside the stadium by the Stayen fans.
Oh were we.....interesting to know how they could stop us if we put our mind to it, not that I wish to antagonise them in any way. Anyway, it was in the end a great success due to the terrific publicity and if we should need to repeat it, rest assured I plan to be there again. TCE can you explain why their fans didn’t want us to demonstrate inside the ground when some of them have been doing so for a while now? Seems a strange thing to ask us......what do they think we slapped all the way over to Belgium for if not to have our voice heard.......a very curious request.
I don’t think it was a strange request. STVV were playing a game of football and as fans they wanted to win the game.
They do not have a history of protesting in the ground during the game, they were quite happy for us to protest after the game had ended.
Perfectly reasonable to follow what they asked for, no one would relish a club’s supporters rocking up, buying seats in the covered end and then not watching charlton play but just sing songs about eg anderlecht....
The seats were not all together because they had to be bought separately. It was made hard work by tickets not being on sale that day, some were acquired through local contacts (eg the east stand) and some bought in person the day before (the north stand). Unfortunately wasn’t possible to get them all in the same place. The protest in the nightclub and on the pitch after the game was more effective in terms of Duchatelet and yes there were probably about 20-30 people involved in that.
Roland may like to say that the protests over there don't affect him but it's funny that he failed to make his usual appearance in the nightclub that night, especially when we know how much he likes to dance. What a bottle-job! I wasted about 2 hours in VIP area that evening waiting to be his "dance partner" when everybody else buggered off onto the pitch for a sing-song and a photo call.

Thanks for your explanation re the tickets......I had been wondering what the situation had been. You mention a demo of some sort in a nightclub....do you mean an actual nightclub or are you reffering to The Brewery? Incidentally, I of course appreciate not wanting to ruffle STTV fans feathers, especially as they had been very helpful and co-operative. You were obviously one of the organisers, well done fella......if necessary I know you’ll be rocking up again in Belgium. What do you think about a demo at the Belgian Embassy in London? Got a feeling that would prove to be a logistical nightmare of the first order.....but great publicity and would potentially embarrass the hell out of Goldfinger.

The " nightclub" referred to by Neil is under the main stand, opposite to where you were seated. It is effectively Roland's own dance hall where he usually has his post match bop. As Neil says, a group of us gained admission to it and were hoping to have a deep and meaningful chat with Roland. He obviously knew we were there and he felt he didn't want to put in his usual appearance although he had attended the match. After a bit of a sing song and a number of beers we went on the pitch for a while before decamping to various bars around the town.

Once again thanks for the answer......although I was there, this just goes to show how little many of us knew what took place other than the march. For example, The Brewery is a huge old brewery barn converted into a fantastic bar/pub where on a Saturday night many of the St Trudien more, shall we say, ‘classy’ element congregate. I would say that there were aroud 250 to 300 of St Trudiens finest in attendance as we left, somehow I still had my Duchatalet Out banner which I raised high and proud for all to see......which most did I reckon. There were some confused looks of course, but even if at the time they didn’t know what it was all about, as a result of the media and publicity, they certainly would have become aware over the next day or two.
Roland may like to say that the protests over there don't affect him but it's funny that he failed to make his usual appearance in the nightclub that night, especially when we know how much he likes to dance. You would have made a beautiful couple as well.
I'm not sure that Roland would have agreed, especially as the extra strength Belgian beers had started to kick in around that time.

Charlton also had a rep at the players post match press conference. Didn't they @Onlyme?

Oi, if you thought they were 'complimentary' then it means you still owe me 16 Euros !! Along with about 10 other people.Or should i try getting recompensed off the 'protest fund'?
@The_President got the tickets for us, most paid but I know there were three lads who still owe him plus your €16.
One thing I kept from the day is the signed Police doc with my name on it, we were meant to be stopped the St Truiden side of the railway flyover and certainly barred from going near the Kanarie Bar so we managed to push both those boundaries, but agree with your original view that it would have been great to protest louder inside the ground, as souless as it was, they were quick to remove our signs etc.
Nick's right @SoundAsa£, he did buy your ticket debt from me, good job for you really as since March I would have had to add interest, certain admin fees, of course there's my time and all that and as I had the coach list, I know where you live.....

I wasted about 2 hours in VIP area that evening waiting to be his "dance partner" when everybody else buggered off onto the pitch for a sing-song and a photo call.
There were some confused looks of course, but even if at the time they didn’t know what it was all about, as a result of the media and publicity, they certainly would have become aware over the next day or two.
it was funny, after getting lost in the stadium and ending up there.
It didn’t take long to be ‘asked to leave’!!
Along with about 10 other people.Or should i try getting recompensed off the 'protest fund'?
One thing I kept from the day is the signed Police doc with my name on it, we were meant to be stopped the St Truiden side of the railway flyover and certainly barred from going near the Kanarie Bar so we managed to push both those boundaries, but agree with your original view that it would have been great to protest louder inside the ground, as souless as it was, they were quick to remove our signs etc.
