Edmund in his first Grand Slam quarter final against either Nick Kyrgios (17th seed) or Grigor Dimitrov (3rd seed) who are up next if you fancy watching, should be a good match.1
-
Great effort but can see him running out of steam and losing to either of those in straight sets. No shame though after what he's done so far.0
-
Great effort by Kyle, should give a useful boost to his ranking too0
-
Well done Kyle! Dimitrov will be tougher but still winnable. He can definitely beat Kyrgios just by not going mental half way through the match.2
-
Watching the highlights, I was impressed with the way Kyle came through and the energy of his celebration, he's definitely getting to grips now with competing at this level and being a contender0
-
Thiem and Djokovic lost this morning
Who at the start of the tournement would have predicted
Kyle Edmund
Tennys Sandgren
Hyeon Chung
Would all make the quarter final0 - Sponsored links:

I was going to stick a pound or two on Hyeon Chung but got my timings wrong so did not.
Sorry Novak I cost you the game....

There is a nineteen year old South Korean called Hyeon Chung who has recently broken into the top hundred from four hundred odd in the world.
He lost in five sets in the first round at Wimbledon this time around but has a good all round game and could be a name to watch for the future.
