Shame the match report for the London City game on the official site is so half-arsed - it’s frustrating that the club seems so inept about promoting the women’s team, particularly as my Instagram feed this week has been full of ads for LCL.
I apologise for mentioning the merits of London City Lionesses yesterday more than Charlton but in different sports when you see first hand the advent of a team on the up with it's financial clout then it's hard not to.
If that's correct that CAFC women had gone 500+ days without losing away in the Championship; it not only tells me how well drilled Charlton are but also the strength of LCL.

The club doesn't seem to understand that potential sponsors for the women's team will want to see their brand all over social media.
The Academy teams have little or no coverage on the site. The under 21s victory over LCL got a mention but the junior teams do really well including competing (and winning) in boys leagues.
I have raised this with Tom Rubashow, Head of Communications, many times without seeing any improvement.
We’re excited to announce a special offer for you as one of our men's season ticket holders!
Starting this Sunday, October 8th, with our women’s league game against Sunderland, you can now enjoy 50% OFF tickets for all women’s home league games for the rest of the season!
That's right - you can go and watch our women's team for half price!
Last Season it was free (One season ticket for Charlton, no matter the gender). Same division, different pricing. (if they got promoted to the WSL I'd understand, but they didn't).
Also what is half price- I thought you can get a season ticket for £25 (why not introduce a half season one like they do with the men's)?
The Academy team beat Brighton 4-1 and have finished 3rd in the first phase of their league. They have won the right to play in the top level in phase 2 against teams like Manchester United, Durham and Aston Villa.
This is a fantastic achievement but the club website ignores it.

One club just isn't happening.
Takes a while to get the news up, but it usually comes. The media team we have is pretty small and I wouldn't be surprised if the women's team has just one or two people working on it

Conditions up there are dreadful so hard for either side to get any rhythm going. Quite a few corners for CAFC, don’t think we are out of this game yet despite being 2-0 down.
This team is absolutely psychotic. That's the third time we've scored two goals in quick succession to turn around a game we were about to lose and it almost always involves Katie Bradley. I think I preferred it when we could actually defend but it's great to see this team never gives up. A point against Newcastle is decent given their investment but you can't afford to keep dropping points in a league this small
Newcastle were 3-1 up and then ex Charlton player and Newcastle captain, Amber Stobbs got sent off for 2nd yellow in the 83 rd minute. Excellent mentality by the Charlton girls to force a very late 3-3.👏🏻

The back passing for their first goal was unforgivable. Clearances later in the game were poor.

This is still on the Charlton app.
