Take her to the world Cup this summer for shootouts0

Those tshirts are hilarious 😂1

I felt more emotional than I expected after that last penalty. 20 years since the women's team were punished for the men's team failing miserably and despite hardly any investment, only becoming professional again under Sandgaard and having teams around them spending more on one player than they've spent in their entire history they've fought their way up. Absolutely incredible stuff26

Absolutely outstanding. Pure relief that we still got promoted after that amazing season.I wasn’t really into the women’s team until this season but the heart was pounding and I scream liked it was a men’s game when we won the shoot out.Nice for the curse to finally be lifted but it’s also doubled my blood pressure having TWO Charlton teams to now support…
enjoy your summer everyone!9 -

I don't think any keeper could have got near that one.siblers said:

Well done girls.
Get your wallets out for next season Mr Chairmen.4 -
Well done to them all, COYA!0

Well, we never do things the easy way, but 120mins in baking heat followed by a penalty shoot out is pretty much the hardest way possible. I'm so pleased for Karen and the team that we managed to see it through, particularly after the disappointment of the final day.9

Has there ever been a player so intrinsic to a promotion campaign than our Sophie? God-like season!1

Brilliant stuff!
Is there a big difference in tv money/sponsorship in WSL? Will the owners need to put their hands deeper into their pockets to make the team competitive at the level above?0 -

I’ll save jobbers the time, I assume they’ll say something like “it was all luck and Hills is rubbish” or some other toshGarrymanilow said:@Jobbers where are you?4 -
Amazing result, Sophie Whitehouse was unreal for 120 and then somehow found another level for the pens. So chuffed for the team and club, future looking so bright for every aspect of Charlton2

What an achievement. Wonder how busy the owners WhatsApp group was!2

Gulf will be huge. Some massive spenders in the league. Let's hope we can be competitive and the team get some serious backing in the transfer market.se9addick said:Brilliant stuff!

Yes to both questions. We’re helped by the fact two other teams have gone up but they’ll spend big. All the noise is that the owners are big fans of the women’s team and it’s now time to prove itse9addick said:Brilliant stuff!

There is no way Newsham gets through the day without making her knee worse. I don't think she even knows where her crutches are anymore2

And of course the biggest win of all for all the FIFA players out there is that our women's team will now be in the game!7
-
Well done. Not quite Wembley 98 but we won.
Fitting that SW was the heroine as she has been all season.
Great for the women and great for the club in general as will raise our profile.
Both the men and women had late wobbles but both achieved their beginning of season goals in the end.14
