I thought Sunderland looked far better under Johnson, far more positive and attacking after the cautious football under Parky
Bottom 3 Shrewsbury play us and Hull in consecutive matches. Get a point of us, and all 3 points against Hull, who didn't manage a single shot on target. Wigan meanwhile have won 2 on the spin, Sunderland and Accrington! With us losing to Burton and MKD, it seems that the struggling teams can pose an unexpected threat
If we can play on the Front foot like yesterday in the 2nd Half and take the game to other teams then we will win most games. We need a new striker and a CH to replace Famewo. If Maddison and Williams can play like yesterday then we should fear nobody.Shrewsbury winning at Hull puts our draw there into context. The Mackems will probably go on a run now.Buts its in our own hands.COYR

I don’t think the point at Shrewsbury was the disaster a lot made it out to be, apart from their goal coming when it did, making it feel a lot worse. They’ve only lost 6 all season (the same as Ipswich and Peterborough). They’d drawn 7 prior to us playing them.
Don't forget Posh still leading at MK. Up to 2nd, 34 points AIS
How come everybody beats MK except Charlton? How come we made MK look like Brazil?
Because we were rubbish, because we carried players who weren’t at it, because we gave them too much respect, because we played a flat 4-4-2 against a team who keep the ball well and who had the extra man in midfield and make the pitch big, because we are Charlton.

Hours of practise.
Finally pays off.
Everyone happy.
Hull: 35-pts
Portsmouth | Peterborough | Lincoln | Ipswich: 32-pts
Charlton: 30-pts
Bowyer OUT! Thomas and the tea lady too!
Only 1 point behind us, with a game in hand.
Accrington with 3 games in hand and only 3 points behind 2nd place Portsmouth and Peterboro in 3rd,
Their next 5 are:
Blackpool (H)
Doncaster (A)
Sunderland (H)
Portsmouth (H)
Charlton (A)
They then play Hull at home a couple of weeks after us.
They’re in a false position right now and have a mini fixture pile up already, and will be playing 9 games in 5 weeks.

That could so easily have been us.
Then April onwards is a mad run of 6 pointers. 7 out of the last 8 games are against teams currently in the top 8.
