  • Only one team going to score and it isn't us!
  • Why has he taken Albie off?
  • Is Maddison playing?
  • I thought Sunderland looked far better under Johnson, far more positive and attacking after the cautious football under Parky

Bottom 3 Shrewsbury play us and Hull in consecutive matches. Get a point of us, and all 3 points against Hull, who didn't manage a single shot on target. Wigan meanwhile have won 2 on the spin, Sunderland and Accrington! With us losing to Burton and MKD, it seems that the struggling teams can pose an unexpected threat
  • If we can play on the Front foot like yesterday in the 2nd Half and take the game to other teams then we will win most games. We need a new striker and a CH to replace Famewo. If  Maddison and Williams can play like yesterday then we should fear nobody.Shrewsbury winning at Hull puts our draw there into context. The Mackems will probably go on a run now.Buts its in our own hands.COYR

I don’t think the point at Shrewsbury was the disaster a lot made it out to be, apart from their goal coming when it did, making it feel a lot worse. They’ve only lost 6 all season (the same as Ipswich and Peterborough). They’d drawn 7 prior to us playing them.
  • I don’t know what’s happened to Shrewsbury, but it’s pretty spectacular.

  • Pigott scores at Sunderland
  • This league is mad. The trick to winning a game is to play a team who are much better than you.

    new manager bounce lol
  • Christ, the top six is just ridiculous at the moment

    Hull: 35-pts
    Portsmouth | Peterborough | Lincoln | Ipswich: 32-pts
    Charlton: 30-pts
  • Wimbledon have got them on the ropes.

  • Hull pegged back 1-1 now
  • Oh, no ..... we're outside the play off positions (as it stands).

Bowyer OUT! Thomas and the tea lady too!

  • Accrington won at Gillingham tonight 2-0.

Only 1 point behind us, with a game in hand.

Accrington with 3 games in hand and only 3 points behind 2nd place Portsmouth and Peterboro in 3rd,

    Nobody liked. Nobody laughed.

  • Burton equalised at Ipswich 1-1
  • Sunderland now level with Wimbledon at 1-1. Blackpool now 2-1 up on Hull. Scores not bad for us so far.
  • Accrington Stanley have not played many of the better sides so far this season.

    Their next 5 are:
    Blackpool (H)
    Doncaster (A)
    Sunderland (H)
    Portsmouth (H)
    Charlton (A)

They then play Hull at home a couple of weeks after us.

They’re in a false position right now and have a mini fixture pile up already, and will be playing 9 games in 5 weeks.

Especially with Hull losing... A few weeks ago and they looked to be running away with proceedings
  • Don't forget Posh still leading at MK. Up to 2nd, 34 points AIS

How come everybody beats MK except Charlton?
How come we made MK look like Brazil?

  • Mental division. No one in top 10 are good enough to break clear from the pack.
  • Poor old Wigan getting slaughtered at home by the mighty Rochdale 0-4

  • Some big games for us coming up after xmas. Peterborough Hull & Accrington in that order.

Then April onwards is a mad run of 6 pointers. 7 out of the last 8 games are against teams currently in the top 8.
