    It's worth pointing out that the Russian league season is only 30 games and they have a winter break from mid-December until March, so their (largely domestic based) squad is probably the freshest in the entire tournament.

    Watching extra time I thought the Russians were moving like they had only just kicked off for the second half, but i'm happy to agree to disagree on this one since I can't really prove anything.

    I will say though Russia as a sporting nation have brought all of the finger pointing and accusations on themselves.
