Wouldnt be so sure of Brazil winning there group.Callumcafc said:Can't see Mexico losing to Sweden so they should win the group from here. 2nd at best for the Germans and a match against Brazil awaits in my opinion!
Can see Switzerland Scoring 2 or 3 against Costa Rica and Serbia defending well against Brazil.1 -
And if Serbia can get the lead themselves... Wouldn't put it past them to beat Brazil eitherpaulie8290 said:

Said before the World Cup started that the winners would be from Europe and havent seen a side that'll change my mind on that0 -
A draw would make it hard for them - they can't catch Mexico with that and I could see Mexico and Sweden playing out a draw to keep them out. A defeat and they are out! Sweden are a decent side.killerandflash said:
Germany are by no means guaranteed to qualify! A real pressure game for them tonight against Sweden who will be hard to beatCallumcafc said:
Belgium +6Manicmania said:England will have to win all three games to top the group now no way we are overturning that goal difference. I'm fine with that though.
England +1
Could be a blessing in disguise if Brazil win Group E and Germany fail to win Group F.
Can't believe I have to go to a party tonight - work friend of my wife. Hopefully tv will be on for the men there!0 -
It's not that big a gap, the diagram is very misleading in its representation of the differences. It's actually around 6.5% between the top two but the picture make it look about 20%. For the top and bottom the actual is about 20% and the picture shows about 60%.Manicmania said:not going to argue with a sports scientist... would you say there is nothing suspect in there being such a big relative gap between the top and the rest though?

Last did it in 1938 according to the commentator. Haven't checked so you could well be right and the commentator an arse.ForeverAddickted said:Only hope for the Germans is the fact that Sweden were bloody awful against South Korea so if they dont win then Germany fully deserve to crash out
Wonder what it'll mean for Joachim Low if that happens seeing that Germany have never exited at the Group Stages0 -

Oh that is golden from Dowie "you can only be as good as the quality of your players" no shit sherlock.
Actually, it is shit. Some teams are definitely better than the sum of the players, England in 1966 for example.0 -
Yeah we established a few pages back that there hasn't been enough data yet and there are other factors at play such as climate, home advantage boost etc etcAddicksAddict said:

I've personally put a pin in it for now until we have more information/games played.

Id love to see England against them at the moment with the pace we've got at our disposalManicmania said:Germany can NOT handle pace at all
Knowing our record though it will be the game when the Germans come to life0 -
How was that not a pen surely VAR is meant to stop this shite reffing decisions0
-
Commentator dont know what he is talking about.
Saying the ref has decided not to go to VAR.
No VAR already looked and decided it wasnt a clear and obvious error, nothing to do with ref0 -
VAR procedure not followed yet again.0
-
But it was a clear and obvious error, VAR is still inconsistent, even if the ref isn’tpaulie8290 said:Commentator dont know what he is talking about.
