He is a fraud because of what? Why isnt he is prison then? Because Nimer made false claims. This video backs that up.
You are entitled to your opinion asking him to leave fair enough.
@paulie8290 I appreciate you engaging with this doofus, but as @Leroy Ambrose says, don’t waste your time. You’ll just get yourself wound up because he’s not going to change his mind. Frankly, he couldn’t give a shit what you think.
Considering we had 2 opportunities to cash in on Lyle, there are 4 scenarios for how the season could have panned out
a) Sell Lyle and stay up b) Keep Lyle and stay up c) Sell Lyle and go down d) Keep Lyle and go down
From a financial point of view, option (d) the worst scenario looks the most likely outcome...we don't get the transfer fee, and don't stay up either.
Of course football isn't just about the balance sheet, and we got to see him in the red and white for another season (well most of it) which clearly is a positive.
Just another reason to like Lyle more, genuinely seems like a good guy. Interview makes me sad to think that over these shitty few years we've had/have some genuinely talented people with really nice attitudes and it's been squandered by greedy pricks in the background.
Fair play to him. I wouldn't have begrudged him if he'd gone in the summer for 4m or in January in search of a bigger pay day. Same with Ricky Holmes, he's almost 30, he's been playing in the lower leagues his entire career, he's had a couple good seasons, go secure your financial future for a few years.
But it sounds like he's gotten dicked around by both owners. Unfortunately, I suspect we've seen the last of him in a Charlton shirt. But he can go out with his head held high.
Not sure Lyle has been quite as saintly during the shenanigans about his on-off departure as he says but I believe 90% of this. Club sadly is an utter basket case and Lyle deserves better. I’m sure he’ll get it if the world starts turning again.
If only everyone at the club was as honest as Lyle. Great interview and good luck to Lyle whatever the future holds for him.
In all probability the majority people at the club are as honest as Lyle. I don't count Southall or the fake Sheikh or his 'directors' in this comment.

So what do you think that Lyle has done wrong then?
Well, it only really confirmed what we knew about the owners, didn’t it? However, it did clear up the speculation about Lyle’s situation in the 2 transfer windows. Like others, I don’t understand why they didn’t sell him when it would have given then £3-4m extra to blow since January - especially when this whole shambles was going to blow up very quickly anyway.
Sadly, I think the club really is a bust flush now. Have you ever seen such a shambolic situation on so many levels that feels impossible to resolve? Probably the perfect shit-storm for our beloved club.
1. The Coronavirus is likely to relegate us 2. The ownership of the club is split and indefinitely unresolvable 3. The mounting debts and bogus contracts is sending us into administration 4. The EFL are investigating us and very likely to penalise the club, badly 5. The main investor seems to have no money and has paid nothing towards the running of the club since buying it 6. None of the issues above are resolvable in the current global pandemic - the first for over 100 years. 7. We can’t even hold any protests anywhere because of the pandemic
I feel totally paralysed and completely devastated and gutted. I genuinely feel that my wonderful 40 years following Charlton are grinding to a terrible end. How the hell can it go so wrong, so quickly.

What can we do, people?
Nothing unfortunately, we are fucked.
Oh, mate. I can’t believe this. Getting angrier by the second.

I don’t think he’s done anything wrong but I suspect he made more of a fuss when the Brentford bid was on the table than he’s saying.

Boy, how much does Lyle ‘get it’ whether it be the fans, players, personalities and the business side.
I wish him nothing but the best wherever he goes. He has a very bright future in whatever direction he takes after he hangs up his boots.
Especially as I’ve just read Southalls threat to sue the trust.
I’m glad for all concerned that I can’t leave here.
I’m fecking raging.

Nah Just someone who likes to surround himself with scum.

I am devastated
