What a touch from the boys
  • Is this a 6-pointer relegation battle?

    You're on form today!!
It's the early kick off. I start flagging by about 3pm.

Karlan has pace to burn and has started superbly, him and Taylor linking up really well so far.

Everyone doing their bit, Aribo looks very strong in the middle with Pratley

    Page injured?

Don't worry, there's plenty more youngsters we can bring in. Apparently, injured 1st team squad players don't get free water bottles, so it will keep costs down a bit more
Stop it! I'm trying to be serious here!
  • We literally have the most injury prone players ever.

Knew Page would stay down after that.

To be fair it was a clash of knees and then he got his ankle kicked out from under him.

Nice sign to show how tight the group is which'll be what we desperately need

We'll be forced to a tight group soon. RD is cutting us down to a minibus with 11 seats, so there'll be no subs next week. I think one of the subs must have driven the other four subs up there today.

    Excellent
  • Lapslie looks a bit lost

He's had some good momente yet appears a bit of a risk when we're defending

This is what we should be focused on not the count that owns us

COYR siege mentality small squad get tight knit and fight for it

WRONG. We can and should do BOTH! Right now I am focusing on this match. Soon as it finishes I go back to the task of getting the count out.

    Roland Out Today

Held up a shirt with "8 F-Caskey" on the back after the goal. Sky camera completely missed it the first time but showed it a couple minutes ago. I'll try and go back and take a picture at halftime.

Not going to judge after 20 mins but Taylor looks like an upgrade on Josh. Grant looks like a new player. Pratley is mustard. Just got to keep them all fit for 46 games!!

  • Is frustrating as these injuries seem to be ever so slightly messing up our momentum - i.e. Sunderland seem to be a bit more of a threat since Page went down

He sent the ref a birthday card yesterday for his 40th birthday

Sunderland have Love going off injured and bring on...Bryan Oviedo, Costa Rica international just back from the World Cup. Lovely.
  • Lapslie looks a bit lost

Was about to say that, game passing him by at the moment. Hopefully he will grow into otherwise we are in danger of getting overrun as Sunderland see more of the ball.

I think it's a little harsh as he's playing that 10 role which isn't familiar to him and in which he seems to be being used for his movement a lot. He's not been brilliant, hopefully there's more to come from him, but he seems to be out there to do a specific job.
