If you could own any car what would it be?

Lovely looking car but had reliability issues when launched. All left hand drive as well.killerandflash said:Citroen SM
Seeing one in a museum recently, it reminded me of how stunning it still looks0 -
BMW 3 series convertible from the 80s, E30 is it? In white ideally.
Absolute dream car. Had a matchbox one as a kid.
Too pricey now I'm old enough to get one!0 -
An Aston of my choice.1

The stretched presidential version is pretty cool too, imagine arriving in the back of one of these! Somewhat more impressive than the SUV Macron now uses...killerandflash said:Citroen SM

You don't buy old Citroens for reliability....DaveMehmet said:

Viper hands down. It's big, it's apparently not very good, but it's beautiful, fast and I drive one at the end of this month...
At half mast thinking about it.7 -

Audi R8 or Aston Martin DB11
An e-type Jaguar would make me too frightened to drive it as much as I love them0 -
Anyone with an interest in classic cars should watch Chasing Classic Cars on Sky, some of the absolute beauties Wayne Carini buys and sells are stunning, but christ, they are worth a fortune.2

They do look good when you see them on the road.Bedsaddick said:

My most realistic dream is to go down Floyd Road at 2:30 on a matchday in a Bentley Blue Train 1950.1

Ha! I had a Lancia 40 years ago. A Beta Coupe. I've since owned much better, (well very much quicker and more expensive anyway) vehicles but still consider that to have been the most fun. Steering was horrendously heavy though. A friend had a standard Fulvia Coupe which was beautiful. So, for me I think it would be a toss-up between a Lancia Fulvia Zagato and a Brooklands 280 Capri plus somewhere sensible to keep it. Apologies for the photo it's a scan of an old print from a dodgy camera.hoof_it_up_to_benty said:Practicality aside and money no object what would your dream car be?
It would have to be a Lancia for me - would probably fall to bits but they're the cars I loved as a kid.
Lancia Delta Integrale would probably be my choice.
