Looked like it was gonna land on the crossbar to me without Pickford touching it, and then it could have gone anywhere, so I make him right for trying to get hands on it. If he'd knocked it out for a corner then it would have been sensible goalkeeping. But yeah, keeping it in play is admittedly a howler, just don't understand how he's managed to do that, it must have been pretty difficult to manage not to put it out of play.
He could’ve maybe done better with it but it’s still a difficult one. You can be a keeper for 30+ years and odds are you’ll never experience something like that.
