It has nothing to do with Rubashow - it's the ranting of a lunatic based in Belgium.
The statement is full of holes of which the most egregious lie is the claim that the staff letter is CARD's communication. It's not.
I know the statement is not his and came from over his head.
I was referring to the point that for Baroni it was a resignation issue. Immediately. The first time. Rubbashow has had it happen twice on his watch. Apparently he is fine with it.
No explanation as to why staff might have had an expectation of a bonus. Statement would like people to believe that the staff were naive and thought a bonus would be paid because one was paid the previous year.
Hiding behind the fact that employees cannot challenge this inference unless they reveal themselves and risk exposing themselves to victimisation, a recurring trait of this management.

The club set targets for staff with an expectation that, if these were met, a bonus would be paid.
The targets were met but the overall business result was shit (not as bad as it would have been if the targets hadn’t been met) and so Duchatelet, presumably on advice from accountants and lawyers just didn’t pay the bonus.
Probably legally fine to not pay discretionary bonuses no matter what has been said about the potential for a bonus, morally wrong.
"The ownership continues to invest £2.2m per year in the Academy, which is considerably more than the majority of League One clubs invest."
Of course you do when you can trouser and off set the fees gained by the Premier stars of the future, £11m for Lookman ? that was suppose to fund the training ground was it not?

As much as I hated the communication that came out of the club when TR showed up and I think it did an enormous amount of damage, they were fighting back against a barrage of protests. This statement is so ridiculous in timing and content it clearly doesn't come from him and not everyone can quit a job on principle, not that I have any sympathy for him, he knew the score when he signed up but I doubt he's fine with it.
The danger here is that Roland seems to be running scared from the EFL. It's really bothering him.
F*** knows why? We all know they won't do diddly. When he walks away from the meeting without so much as a scratch my worry is he'll feel empowered to do some high level damage.
My money's on this being an attempt to smoke out the mole(s) in "the administrative staff at The Valley". Let's hope that a) there is one/some and b) he/she/they don't fall for this ploy, cos the vindictive old twunt will sack em quick smart for airing his dirty laundry in public. The notion of staff getting the hump cos they may have received a bonus in the past but won't do again, isn't a tough one to swallow but on a balance of credibility there is only one story holding water here. The lunacy in believing that douchebag and his regime retain a valuable reputation is staggering. As if any potential purchaser gives a rat's arse how popular/successful/well shod their predecessor ever was, FFS. If you're so terribly hurt by all the mean things Europe's newspapers keep printing about you, then sell the club you poor dear old chap and all the nasty articles will stop. You will of course have to sell it for a price that someone is willing to pay not some stratospheric insane price of your imagining. Simple choice really: brickbats, opprobrium and tiresome meetings with EFL with an imagined chance of some monies to be received; or; an end to all the pain, suffering and €1M/month outgoings...
"Unique". Awful piece of grammar, even for a non-English native. The thing I like is the way he always refers to himself in the third person - 'the owner'. Always reminds me of that Simpsons episode with 'The Leader'

What a petty looking unprofessional statement.
Least you can try and reason with them, you cant reason with this twat!!
Nothing to do with your ridiculous asking price then Duchatelet?
Our reputation went up the smoke pretty much the day after you showed up you senial old chunt.

Absolutely embarrassing, guaranteed this post has caused more reputational damage than CARD ever has caused (which is zero)
... Roland you are clearly a demented Belgian c**t.
