    She's living the dream.

Neither Zverev nor Osaka seem right mentally at the moment, both shadows of what they were 6 months ago

Seems there is a chance that Andy Murray and Serena Williams will team up for the Mixed Doubles

Bet the Wimbledon organisers would absolutely love that to happen

Dan Evans and Jacko's mate James Ward both 2 sets up. Apologies for cursing them (when they both lose in 5)

Is Gauff beating Williams such a massive shock?

Venus is a bit of a relic these days and her odds were 50-1 at the start, so don't quite see how this is a shock result

Odds to win tournament maybe but odds to win the match was 2/9

Venus is 44 in the world
Gauff is 313 and her 1st Womens Wimbledon.

Also she is 15 years old and up against a multipe grandslam winner in Williams.

So yes it was a massive shock

Venus beat world number 36 and 15 in Eastbourne

World number 31 and 30 in Miami

World number 6 in Indian Wells.

All thes ranked above her and she has beat in recent months, she may not win another event but is not past it and losing to a 15 year old is still a massive shock, how anyone can say otherwise is beyond me

Tomic fined his full match fee after his pathetic display against Tsonga. Strange how Aussie tennis can go from the ultimate competitor in Hewitt to complete wasters like Tomic and Kygios

Great wins for Dart and Evans, both into the 3rd round.

Nick Kyrgios being his usual bell end self against Rafa, currently 1 set all 2-2 in the 3rd.

Love a bit of Kyrgios. The kind of character that any sport needs.

He can come across as a brat at times but other times he just there to have a laugh and entertain. And you can’t deny his raw talent
He does seem to focus though and desperately needs to get a coach (and a ruthless fitness coach) and commit properly to the sport as the talent is there. It would be a shame if he drifts around for the next 3 years then quits as he should be coming to his peak
  • Options
When he decided to stop laying in to the umpire at every change of ends he actually played some really good tennis, definitely got the talent but I can't think think of anyone from any sport in the modern era who has gotten to the top of their sport coaching themselves.

Just seen part of the interview with him where he says why should he apologise for hitting the ball straight at Nadal. Agree with him on that, there's too much apologising in tennis. No one means it anyway so why bother.

Tennis is a gentleman's sport and respect for your opponent is a pre requisite.  Tennis has given him fame and fortune and he should respect the game which has given him that
