According to the BBC coverage the attendance at the Stadium of Shite is only 26,210.

    Small-town clubs.

    😉

Flanagan looks like a crack addict.
  • Dad's Army is still blooming funny - it's the one where Pike is stuck on a mined beach with the tide coming in.

I trust Sunderland and Portsmouth are providing those of you still watching with as much enjoyment.

  • Anything which allows me to talk about Mendonca and the 98 final is a good thing. Up the Sunderland get a 2nd

Regardless though its no different to the Vetokele | Parker | Lapslie incidents (last man) so why is he off when it was yellow for them???

Lmao harsh red... I do think he got the touch on the ball to change its path too though so not a Red for me.

    Shocking decision for a red.

Since when has kicking the ball towards the corner flag before being felled been classed as a clear goal-scoring opportunity?

Just turned it on, loads of empty seats, thought Sunderland would’ve have a lot more than that.

He definitely did. Tiny touch but you see a slight change in path of the ball.

That's a yellow for me, bloke was going away from goal.

Having said that, if it was a Doncaster player tomorrow we'd all be screaming for a red card.

    Lyle would have scored that.

Wasnt sure if that was the Pompey player or Sunderland one who got the touch

Looked to be daylight between the Sunderland guy and the ball

Igor got his shot away, therefore the goal-scoring opportunity wasn't lost.

Haven't seen the Parker and Lapslie incidents but I remember the Valley Pass comms of George's challenge: the ref played advantage didn't he? In which case, again, the goal-scoring opportunity hadn't been denied.

Alternatively, the refs just make it up as they go along.

    😀

Pompey player poked it and then it flicks off the Sunderland toe before the Pompey player goes over the Sunderland player.

I hope our game doesn't get heated as Lyle will get a red if it does.

Should only be a one-match ban for that red card ... unless he's already been sent off this season in which case add an extra match for each red.

I would say that given how poor Sunderland have been one match may be the rest of their play-offs but as Pompey are just as crap, who knows?
