I don’t suppose Donny will allow tickets to be picked up on the Saturday as I aim to get up there mid afternoon? I’m sure a few others will be staying up and will help with the queues on Sunday
i can already see the issue of those arriving on 9.03 from kings x having an hour to get to the ground pick tickets up ( as online you can only choose either post or pick up from doncaster ) and get in the ground in what will more or less be a sell out.
Isnt helped by the short turn around that clubs have for the Play-Offs... If we were get past Doncaster then we'd only have nine days to purchase ahead of the Final
One day more than what we've had to purchase tickets for this 1st Leg
My home and away tickets arrived in the post today, well done the ticket office staff
Same here, having been a critic of the ticket office staff/system in the past i can only say that the service has worked superbly all season for me.
If you regularly buy tickets, you will know your way round the site.
If you did as Charlton advised and checked you were all set to purchase, by adding family & friends etc, you shouldn't have had any problems, provided you read and followed the instructions.
The ticketing site could definitely be improved and isn't as easy to navigate as it could be, but it does the job sufficiently.
There are still historic issues with people having more than one a/c etc.
Personally, if I wanted to go to Wembley (assuming we make it), I would make damn sure that all my details were correct and ensure that I followed the instructions.
If everyone does that there should be few issues (other than technical glitches) and it will be far far easier than having to phone up and be on hold indefinitely.
If we do reach Wembley every Charlton supporter will be able to get a ticket. But you need to ask yourself whether you want to be able to purchase in a matter of minutes (hopefully), or do you want to be waiting on the phone indefinitely, running up a bill in the process.

By comparison, Doncaster have 3,394 seats still available. They have six blocks that are not for sale either side of the away supporters - perhaps some are our additional seats.

i doubt it with it being a weekend they are unlikely to want that many staff in, also they will have there own fans to sort out.
regarding @ForeverAddickted i don't like to think about wembley but the difficulties faced this week regarding tickets we would likely have 38,000 to shift ( villas allocation last year ), surely they would open the ticket office for the weekdays and let people buy in person - of course we have to get there 1st.
I heard somewhere the club has counted season-ticket holders in the home ticket sales -i.e. assuming they all turn up.
Where's "somewhere"? Sounds like nonsense.
If a club employee told you that, it's meaningful information. If it was a man queuing up at the closed ticket office, the faint smell of Pernod on his breath, it's probably not worth taking it too seriously. Or if you read it on the Charlton Facebook Group, which is full of weirdos.
It was a club employee, doesn't mean I personally believe it though, purely passing it on.

But even if your details were correct on this occasion, the club did make an error by not linking Valley Gold to people's accounts. They have admitted this error, admitted it was at their end and no fault of any fan trying to buy away tickets. It was only corrected when fans who were making sure their details were correct experienced and/or spotted it and emailed/phoned/tweeted the club to let them know.
Buying tickets for the play off games - assuming you meet the required criteria - is a piece of piss, a doddle, as easy as buying anything else online or over the phone.
The Club, in this instance, is not rubbish or a shit shower.
I must’ve of imagined the robot hanging up on me then, bore off
The cafc ticket phone line is just a recorded message, the other number given is as I was told by the girl who answered just an outside booking agency who did not have a lot of personal information available. I t is a shame our website did not say our ticket office would be shut until the 15th, and our phone line would be just a recorded message, online does work though as I now have all my tickets apart from one of my next years season tickets.

In retrospect it's clear that many people have only just realised now the errors in getting away tickets, season tickets and VG membership allocated to the same account, with people having multiple Fan IDs. I had these issues at the start of the season but resolved them then.
I had those issues a couple of years ago, but phoned the club and resolved them.

Agreed. There will probably always be glitches and the site crashing if everyone tries to buy at the same time.

As long as they open the khazi at the far end of the East Stand......
The home sales figures look seriously impressive to me. I am sure @Airman Brown will have a much better perspective, but It looks to me we will beat the figure for the playoff game against Swindon under Parky, when our core fan base was in much better shape. I think it augurs well for any Wembley showdown against either of those two big boys. I would think we could muster the 35k we took to the 98 final. All of which is pretty amazing with that dark duck taped shadow hanging over us, as Airman tweeted yesterday ( not with those words:)
We are already at roughly the home ticket sales for the 2010 Swindon game. Given what has happened in the last five years, I'm surprised (and delighted) at this.
Seems like I support hasn't completely gone away, its just been sleeping.
Wembley tickets will probably be more that two per person which should speed things up a bit.
I did note that Wembley charge children 16 and over the full adult price. I really don’t get why they think that parents of older children have much more spare cash to spend. Top A tickets were £80 so I won’t be buying those!
On the plus side, over 60s were half the price, as were all other concessions.

I don't think we will sell out the extra away allocation, but my hopes of a 20k gate at the Valley have already been surpassed.
This is a great message to Lee, Jacko and the squad in the run up to 2 (or 3) vital games.
