Maybe because they haven't cocked it up in the first place.
Havent seen where our Ticketing Service have messed up yet...
Even if they havent it would be a small courtesy for them to let their fans know on the numbers they've sold
Must have been asleep this morning then.
System briefly went down before 9am but tickets hadnt gone back on sale yet
Was able to login after 9am though and could easily have gotten a ticket for both home and away games
That plus the entire Valley Gold issue which wasn't resolved until after 10am.
Why what was up with that?
I'm not a Valley Gold Member hence why I wasnt aware of it

tried to pay, gone through to Verify by Visa, says successfully completed, then go through to a screen with Error occurred trying to complete payment - Payment Error
go back, still in my basket, complete again then goes through at same stage to a Session Timeout screen. no idea if processed or not, guessing not.

Yes. Used a different card after 3 attempts. That worked.

Away tickets arrived today. I know it’s not been smooth for everyone but for me I say fair play to the club easy to book and quick to arrive despite how busy they must be.
Surprisingly few IT problems considering the numbers involved. I thought the process for season ticket holders for the home game was over complicated, especially for ipad users, but overall the staff have done very well.
I am a bit surprised that so many have opted to phone for tickets. We all know how few staff we have so hardly surprising that there are long waiting times. More surprised that that those electing to buy this way are surprised! It was a good decision not to sell to personal callers as this would have slowed it all down further.
A lot of us (myself being Exhibit A) are Old Gits and not very confident buying online, particularly when excess numbers trying to do the same cause technical problems even for those who are proficient online.
Our age demographic was a major reason Katrien was so contemptuous of us and tried so hard to change the 'customer' demographic.
My tickets (home leg) purchased by phone arrived in the post this morning apparently so all good (until I get the phone bill with the 30 minute wait anyway).
However, for me, phone was the least stressful option.

We've shifted over 21000 home and away tickets in less than 3 days, that's amazing and a credit to our ticketing system really. To me the communication from the club has been fine too

If you have some spare time, why don't you practice buying a home ticket online, without actually buying ? Then when the Wembley tickets go on sale, it should be easy for you.
Home sales are slowing to about 100/150 an hour. I wonder if there will be any left when the ticket office opens for sale ? If anyone knows someone planning to go down there 15th-17th they may want to help them out.
