must be one of those days my lappy seems to have a problem with the link and print job forwarded it to my lad and he has printed them sod this, so much stress off to the Robin Hood later for some Harveys.
Thinking out load here. I’m probably an idiot for this but couldn’t we put on a Charlton Life Coach for the people who need coach travel but can’t get it as the club haven’t laid on anymore? I’m a coach driver and would willingly drive up, id be within my tacho hours etc as a gesture of goodwill say from Charlton only and return back. Only issue being I live in Milton Keynes and again no one around to steward it etc. Just a thought.

The clit has long been lost. I doubt anyone will ever find it again.
Saw saw on the Donny forum, that the total takings from the playoff semi finals are put into a single pot with 50% to the EFL and 12.5% to each of the 4 teams. Surely this cannot be correct ?
The home sales figures look seriously impressive to me. I am sure @Airman Brown will have a much better perspective, but It looks to me we will beat the figure for the playoff game against Swindon under Parky, when our core fan base was in much better shape. I think it augurs well for any Wembley showdown against either of those two big boys. I would think we could muster the 35k we took to the 98 final. All of which is pretty amazing with that dark duck taped shadow hanging over us, as Airman tweeted yesterday ( not with those words:)
We are already at roughly the home ticket sales for the 2010 Swindon game. Given what has happened in the last five years, I'm surprised (and delighted) at this.
Seems like I support hasn't completely gone away, its just been sleeping.
or boycotting
I spoke with one prominent CL boycotter who still isn't budging, even when I pointed him to Lee's on-pitch plea to turn up. On that basis ( admittedly sample couldn't be smaller) its more the sleepers woken up by Bowyer
Rightly or wrongly and I'm sure many will disagree but I'm the same. I've never been more tempted since my boycott started 2 years ago but I just can't go against what I've been doing.
Come 2pm though I will get my ticket for the away game.
I'm tempted of course but ultimately won't break my boycott for the home leg. I'm still considering the away leg. As someone with no points and no recent purchase history when is the earliest I can buy for the away leg?
Rovers have placed tickets for the Sky Bet League One play-off semi-final on general sale.
Supporters wishing to purchase tickets on general sale for the first leg at the Keepmoat Stadium can now do so from the Club Doncaster Box Office.
The club are aware Charlton Athletic are close to selling out their initial allocation and the club will monitor the first day of general sales before making a decision on whether to grant the Addicks any additional tickets.
I had to go out by 9.15 this morning so was on the site sharp. Had bought home tix via my account on mobile with no trouble at all on Sunday but this time it wasn't letting me in. So on the phone to Sharron at VG who tried hard to help but conclusion was that I had a browser issue. No time to log on via another device so left the problem with Mr W. Later got text from him that it was sorted.
Since then I have had a phone message and email from Sharron to check that I got tickets with an apology that the issue was at CAFC end and they only discovered this as more calls and emails came in after mine.
Can't thank Sharron enough for her help and concern.

It’s all about the away numbers , we’re like a real club with proper away support
it’s like the Ipswich play off home game in 1998 when we had real passionate noise for once from around the ground , I reckon we’ll have some of the same for the home leg .
Best home atmosphere I ever experienced. 90 minutes of singing "Heaney Broke Your Nose".....
That game against Ipswich was a special evening. I parked in Makros that night. As I got out of the car I could hear the singing in their car park as clear as if I was in the ground.
Probably the best and most enjoyable game that I have seen in 52 years at the Valley
Strangely, the Ipswich team coach departed down Charlton Lane, past The Oak, after the game. I chased after it, to wave them cheerio :-)

So.... do we get the extra 800, and then maybe more?
or...are they going to assess tomorrow whether we even get the extra 800?
It says Doncaster are going to monitor the first day of general sales (Tomorrow, Thursday) before deciding if they are going to increase our allocation. The way that reads is if home tickets are flying off the shelf then we will not get any more. If tomorrow is slow then we might be in with a shout.
Maybe tempting fate as a possible Wembley visit to come but well done on the tickets as got home Monday morning and just got a away one. But just booked a train and its £91 what do they make them out of gold! And I can't get the return until 4.30! Haven't been on a Charlton coach since a nightmare ride back from Middlesbrough in the Cup game after I'd sworn I wouldn't get on one again after my coach crashed trundling into Nottingham so that wasn't an option I was going to consider.
You snooze you lose. They were £58 Saturday night.

I don't like the sound of that statement. I think if we wanted to to we could shift around 5k, there will be lots of people trying to buy at 9 am tomorrow.
They have changed their tune. Donny have now put their tickets on general sale. Donny are aware we have nearly sold out. our allocation and will make a decision if to give us more. I know there fans are moaning to the club that we might got more tickets so this could be awkward even before a ball is kicked if they now say you cant have more tickets.
Annoyingly I have selected to print my tickets at home, and yet there's no option to print them. I've been into the my tickets, and I can see they have been bought, but there's not printing option available to me.
Any ideas? I've called the club and nobody seems to know!!
Print them from your email confirmation you'll see a print option there.
Did this get resolved I now have the same problem with the print at home two tickets are not printing now
Sounds worrying they might not give us the extra 700 or so.
So if tickets are on general sale and not restricted sale, for those without tickets yet it might be worth considering buying tickets in the home area before Doncaster restrict them, assuming there aren't any restrictions yet.
Worst case scenario is we sell out by 9.30am tomorrow morning, Doncaster say no more tickets and then put it on restricted sale.
Edit - and if Doncaster do restrict our allocation then maybe we should consider restricting there allocation to half of the JSS and sell the other half to our fans should there be demand for them.

Special night that one. Rather warm evening if I recall & the roof had come off the West stand making it look a bit surreal. Newton's goal just topped it all off. a bit like this season.........just thought we weren't going to lose once we'd scored.
Incorrect......the roof had been taken off the North Stand.

We know from experience this season and towards the end of last season that we can expect 3,000 charlton fans to make a serious amount of noise non-stop for 90 minutes on Sunday. Donny would be doing 800 of their fans a favour if they sold the extra tickets to us and not them so they didn’t have to sit and suffer listening to us, in fact, if the stand we are in accommodates even more they should consider giving us all of it.

North stand was not done until after first year back in prem 00-01 the West was done for first prem year 98/99 so he is right

No you are wrong. The roof was off the west stand.
Doncaster have just made available some of the blocks that weren't previously for sale, but are still showing six blocks not available. They are now saying that they still have 4,427 home tickets available for general sale
They are saying that there are still 318 tickets available from our initial allocation. I suspect the other 800 within those closed six blocks.
Sounds like they may release more to us if the demand is there.

We still have 312 to sell of the original 3,001.
I think they are just being sensible.
All Keepmoat tickets will be on General Sale tomorrow, so the tickets should go to who needs them.
I'm confident we'll get what we need, (although not for the blokes that wait until they are no longer on sale, before deciding they want one)
