  • Seems a shame with many returnees like myself attending (1/2 season) that we dont  use the media coverage to have a dig at Roland, without distracting from the important events on the pitch.  How about everyone wearing a yellow ribbon to highlight that we have returned and could do so again?
I'll be wearing my lucky yellow sweater that hasn't seen us lose yet.
In that case I'll wear the same yellow underpants that I wore for the first leg on Sunday!
    Keeping it real.

Why have the club stopped giving out official numbers, we used to get a 5pm update each day?
Did you get a ticket Mike
    No, I never tried

Bricklayers Arms in Bromley for Friday mate, our merry band is growing.
    Merry band ?
25,000 Addicks at The Valley and how many merry souls at The Bricklayers ?
Enough for us to have the back tele by the beer garden.
    4 merry men ?
    3 merry men and elfs
    7 dwarfs.
5'5 does not qualify as a dwarf.
  • Well there is still one available online for JS Block E if you're quick.

I might try to get there early. I normally park in Makro but worried if the game does go on a bit that it might be locked in when I get back. Haven't had a parking worry for quite a while - it's nice in a way! Wife is going to 02 with her friend, to watch Ollie Murs so will drop her off and pick her up after.
  • :) bugger, just as I'd decided to break my boycott and get a ticket

I'm sure we can find you a spare!
  • Wont be at the game but a plea to those that do to make the atmosphere like the Ipswich home playoff game in 98. Still one of the best!
  • 3 on there now 2 in the West 1 in the south

  • What a difference a year made,
    13 thousand extra punters.
Bought the sun and the flowers,
where there used to be rain.

  • More than 24,000 Charlton fans will be at a sold-out Valley on Friday night to cheer on the Addicks.
The sellout means the Addicks will be backed by the largest home support at The Valley since 2012.

  • Obviously great news, but does that me we are losing approx 1,500 seats to segregation?

That would be just half the capacity of the JIMMY SEED stand so I suspect it's more that Donny haven't sold their 2000.

Surely it should read more than 25,000 charlton fans ?

    the ground holds 27,111

Just over 3,000 of that capacity is in the JS

so that means if we had already sold out the N, E and W stands  24,000 tickets would have been sold to Charlton fans.

add in the 1,000 sold to Charlton fans in the JS and you get 25,000

I am happy for all of you that get to go. I think we are gonna win. And it should be a blast to attend.

    JS holds approx 3,400.

Donny have only had 3 blocks, A,B,C. They've sold approx 1,000 I believe. They’ve been told unreserved seating (indicating to me they might not use C for them now but make it segregated and use G in the top corner for Donny instead).

    Weve sold D,E,F,L, approx 1,000.

I may be wrong but blocks G,H,J and K haven’t been put on sale to either us or them

  • Such a pity I couldn't go, it was tempting to try and get a ticket in the hope I would be able to get to London, but then if I couldn't get there it would have been stupid to stop someone else getting a ticket who could guarantee to get there. I'm gonna watch on TV and be proud not just of the team but of the fact that lil' old Charlton can sell out despite the past 5 years. Well done to all I and look forward to hearing the Valley in full voice on TV.....now onwards and upwards..........COYR's!!!

25k with the Jimmy seed ones.
  • Considering it’s a play off semi , it really is pitiful the take up of tickets from Doncaster and I’m not buying the “ It’s Friday night , and it’s on the TV “ Nonsense.
     It’s really poor.
