Their numbers at Roker Park V Pompey were also well below average....I also find these lowish turnouts to be very strange?
Someone is giving their age away ;)
I'm really surprised he hasn't had to hand in his driving license.

I don't think he needed one as he got it automatically while in the army in WW2
Neither of you would have said that to his face 50 years ago, trust me  ;).
We were both in primary school 50 years ago.
  • I think we should panic if we don't get them by Thursday post. I suspect everything will be fine.
  • From the confirmation email, don't panic people! -

A lot going are the more expensive ones...

While they say beggars can't be choosers, beggars can't afford expensive tickets lol!

  • So can they just reissue tickets for collection at the ground?

Yes - as long as you have the payment card to hand.

  • Cash taken out my bank now happy days🍻🍻coyr
  • my late Dad went to a couple of the 60,000 games and i remember him saying the game against QPR(cup Rodney Marsh destroyed us)and West Ham in a League Cup game were far bigger than the "official" 32,000 given

As discussed in the past, back in the 70s we the club would loose many attendees rather than inflate the gate. For the West Ham league cup match, I was told by an insider that we lost around 20,000 that night. Tbf though, we have no way of knowing what the split was between Charlton and West Ham.

My guess is that QPR in the league cup and Spurs in the league were perhaps on par with that West Ham attendance.

I reckon we could easily shift another 10K today. That will leave 10K for the rest of the week, I doubt that will last .

    What could possibly go wrong

Your best bet is to be in, when the postman is due. Don't rate your chances if your missus see the envelope from Charlton first.

I'll probably get flamed for this, but here goes.......

Does anyone else think that there are too many disabled/wheelchair tickets  ??  Sounds like there are a good hundred or so left which could go to an able bodied person. Its not as if the 'space" couldn't be used by anyone else. Would peeve me if I couldn't get a ticket but saw on tv a  number of empty seats.....and that would probably just be for their helper / carer.
