Surly they will hold some back for the general release later this week, otherwise it would be a bit unfair on those for what ever reason that do not fit the existing criteria.
Not sure how it's unfair? Existing members on the system should be the only people allowed to buy tickets for this game?
That's fine if it's one member one ticket, but it's not. Members have rightly been given the opportunity to buy extras for friends and family, but it poses a risk that genuine Charlton fans who aren't members and can't call in favours from mates, could be disenfranchised in favour of people who actually support other teams. I think the club have got things about right. Holding a few thousand back is exactly the right thing to do. It's not as if they aren't going to get sold.
I'll probably get flamed for this, but here goes.......
Does anyone else think that there are too many disabled/wheelchair tickets ?? Sounds like there are a good hundred or so left which could go to an able bodied person. Its not as if the 'space" couldn't be used by anyone else. Would peeve me if I couldn't get a ticket but saw on tv a number of empty seats.....and that would probably just be for their helper / carer.
There maybe too many disabled parking spaces, always empty ones in packed places.
It’s an expensive day out for them. Even if they get the cheap tickets, you’ve got to be looking at a £200 spend. Unless you bring sandwiches and 6 cans of Lidl’s lager
Having worked on Wembley way for about a year, I can tell you there is a Lidl store just off it. Never mind your box parks. Everyday I went in there to get roast chicken pieces to complement my sandwiches for lunch. Magical

Big Issue salesman ?
It was a side hustle. A moderator’s salary is paid in crab sticks and I don’t like them

TICKETING
INFORMATION
Supporters
that have requested for their tickets to be posted should wait until the
working day before the fixture before contacting the Ticket Office. These
tickets will then be duplicated and made available for collection on the day of
the match. Any away tickets that have been purchased and collection has been
requested will be available to collect within one working day from The Valley.
If away tickets are not collected within one working day of the fixture they
will be sent to the away club and available to collect from there on the day of
the fixture. Please note supporters are required to provide valid
identification upon collection.
What could possibly go wrong
On collection if needed, it will take a bit longer as people will have to get their postage fee refunded.
I think you'll find the little red cross next to the printer means you can't print the tickets yourself, not that they've been printed to send out or not.

Confirmed.
I received my first batch of tickets through the post today yet when checking the site still show the red cross next to them.
All this playoff business has stopped the annual where’s my new season ticket, why hasn’t it arrived stuff 😄
You could have a point there Jon. Think Lyle Taylor was gonna deliver my tickets, but I have a pitch marked out in my garden and he's taken 3 days to reach the penalty spot

Never been there, but looks a bit shit on Google Maps - the first picture is of a building with no roof or windows.
