I have a ticket now (big thanks to @GRAY9 for offering a spare) and I feel like a kiddie at Christmas! My prediction - too tight to call just as it was in 1998. Whatever the result, I'm confident that LB will have the lads at their best for the match. COYR!!!
Surprising how quickly Chris Powell has reverted back to being the ex Charlton player and manager in the media, considering he was managing one of our L1 rivals until 2 months ago!
Coincidentally, the playoff final has fallen on my birthday this year. What a present a promotion to the Championship would be! Day off of work, I'll be up nice and early on my sofa to watch the boys! Longest bloody week ever, glad its finally almost over. 2-1. Lyle with a last minute winner
If they shut down Taylor or manage to provoke him into a yellow I don;t know where our goals are going to come from. And I am afraid that they will do exactly that.
I don’t know how the players put up with the nerves . It must be horrendous . Im sure I had butterflies before 98 but I can’t remember but tonight I’m feeling really on edge . I was 29 then and now I’m 50 and it’s the thought that this could be the last time I see Charlton At Wembley that makes it feel so important. I just hope if things don’t go our way tomorrow , that we’re not all too down . COYR!
BedsAddick it is exactly how I feel. I was 31 in 1998 and 52 now. You don't know when we'll ever get back to Wembley so its a massive day tomorrow. It feels like mas Eve as a kid. Hoping that Santa has that present from the top of your list ready at the end of the bed on Christmas morning.
I thought I’d be feeling either ridiculously excited or nervous as hell tonight but strangely enough I don’t feel either, just down and sad (even though I’ve nothing to feel down or sad about).
In NZ it’s lunch time Sunday. It somehow feels like I have to wait longer for the game than you folk in the UK. You only have to wait until 3pmSunday afternoon I have to wait until 2am Monday morning. Whilst you are all (trying) to sleep I am fully awake and consumed with fear. My lunch can hardly go down. Deeply worried . No one to turn to. ... 14 hours to go. Nearly 16 hours if we’re talking about full time. The agony.
A bloke I work with (Alright for a Yid) picks scores and results like no one I've ever met before, he earns a couple of grand a month just by his bets. He's saying 2-1 Charlton. I've just put a ton on it

Opening game Marshall at RWB, Solly RCB, a midfield of Pratley, Lapslie and Aribo. Only five subs. Hadn't signed Cullen or Bielik at that point.

In January when we drew 1-1 we had Solly at LB and a midfield of Bielik, Morgan, Pratley and Fosu. No Aribo or Cullen.

Sunderland fans should take this into consideration when they say they've not lost against us all season
