There are around 3 or 4 football clubs in the land that don't lose money.

The other 80 or 90 pro clubs all lose money consistently year on year ,ad infinitum.

    Did Roland not know this?

So it seems that the people buying season tickets ARE better than the boycotters...

"each season ticket holder costs the clubs approximately £1,000."
It's all you bleeding season ticket holders that are causing the problem. It's now official.
    Selfish bastards!

FFS the Rat and his yes men never actually live on planet Earth do they !

So we are are division closer to the promised land of the Premieship where owners might actually make a shilling but according to these twonks promotion to the Championship is a barrier to the sale !!!! The only "barrier" is Roland --- end of.
Next "every season ticket holder costs the club £1,000" !! well get rid of all the season ticket holders and that gets rid of 75% of the losses by that bollox bit of Belgium logic.

As for his mouth piece not being there it's because there has been no change since the last set of LIES

Does anyone understand the logic behind the S/T holders costing the club £1,000 each - what does it even mean?

So it’s not players wages or incompetent management that loses the club money, it’s you selfish bastard season ticket holders?!

And this is a written statement ffs. Not ad hoc words taken out of context in a non native language, but thought out and written down.

But still people sign up to this shit .....
I agree. A complete and utter waste of time.

It’s just a repeat of the logic The Great Rolando used in his latest matey chat with Jim White. I think he is saying that average losses divided by ST holders works out around £1k per person.

Is it not the operating loss per season divided by the number of ST holders?  What relevance it has though is beyond me.

I’m guessing they’ve taken the annual losses and divided it by the number of ST holders. Really weird thing to do though, paying customers can’t cost a business money, not sure why they would suggest that they do.

That particular line is nonsense and helpful to no man or beast lets face it, which I pointed out to them.. and doesn't seem like a thing LdT would write let alone TR to me

If that is the the case then it makes the calls for a season ticket boycott even more pertinent.

It's obviously hurting him if people are actually paying him money and he still classes it as a loss.

He's probably better to calculate the average amount people that don't go anymore, because of him, then come up with how much he's cost himself, season on season, the fuckin din.

This Belgian mob should have a game of Monopoly. Might just given them a clue as to how finance works!

The main problem of all the owners in the Championship is in fact the average loss per club today, which is funded by the rich owner, is £1000 per season ticket owner.”

RD said this on talkSPORT. Assume this is what they’re going for in the statement, although completely incorrectly worded.

Is he not saying how great he is subsidising those that go and watch?
  • A takeover specific Fans’ Forum will take place ahead of the start of the season should the club not be sold by then.

This is the most concerning line for me.

Total utter rubbish. I hate the way CEO's or PR people change information round. I dont understand how buying a season ticket can be seen as a cost.
Yes football is a crazy world of burning money but that's not new. Facts show only Premier League TV income can reduces the hugh losses.

Yes, I think you may well be right. However, the way it is stated makes the club looked stupid.....yet again.

A nonsense stat really, he could just have easily divided the loss by the number of receptionists

"We have 2 receptionists and they are costing us £7.5m a year"

Sack one of the receptionists and pay off the Directors loans! How about that for some Rat logic then 😉.

    Or 1 owner costing £15m a year!

All this can't do his business reputation any good, if his associate / customers are keeping track of things.

He's clearly a liability and I reckon something in his head must've changed from the person who made £millions to the person he is now. Remember though, that the Belgians and Dutch are a breed apart from your average Brit

Signing it off merely means that it is an accurate reflection of what was said - in the context of minutes, it does not imply agreement with the statement.

And another thing. Supposedly LDT wasnt there as he is finalising a deal to sell the club......but in the statement there are 3 groups still in negotiations. Are all 3 buying us.....???  We were the first British club to have 2 managers with Gritt & Curbs in the early 90's - are we now going to be the first British club to be owned by 3 separate groups...😃
