Am I right in thinking that out of our Welsh contingent only Gunter was selected today and he was an unused substitute?0

Not surprised Gunter didn't play, but slightly concerned that Williams wasn't on the bench, unless he's being saved for the next match on Wednesday0 -
Does this mean Levitt and Williams are injured?0
-
Scrap that he is injured

Washington played 62 minutes before being replaced by Magennis
I'd forgotten that with Hull not having 3 internationals, they lost him for this weekend's match0 -
And Magennis scores!
He should start the next match, Conor needs a rest2 -
Am I the only one who doesn't have a clue what all these International matches are about. The other day Scotland were playing a "play-off" match to see if they are playing in the 2020 Euros (even though the 2020 Euros are now in 2021) but then England tonight are playing a group game for some competition that they can now no longer qualify for........but qualified for the 2020 /2021 Euros ages ago. And also there are 3 games in less than a week.......wtf ? We are trying to compress a league season into a schedule that is at least a month shorter than normal & players are playing 2 games a week.
Bonkers beyond belief.6 -

Well says in the article he should be ok for Wednesday. Not that Bowyer will want him to play but sounds about as minor as you could possibly get0

The issue is that as it's already stressed, it could be liable to tear.

Williams is on the bench for Wales tonight
No Dylan Levitt though0 -
So that's 2 games in a row Levitt hasnt even been on the bench for Wales.
He has either picked up an injury or Robbie Page has noticed during the friendly against USA and training that he is rubbish and only gets called up because he plays for United and Giggs is a United legend.

Washington on the bench tonight, Magennis starts; the 2 seem to be alternating which is slightly odd considering they are very different types of player0
-
Gunter also on the bench0
-
Don't think any of our Welsh boys played any part tonight.
Great news1 -

No Ramos in the Spain squad for the Euros, indeed no Real Madrid players at all0 -
Trinidad & Tobago are looking to call up Ryan Iniss (paperwork not done yet). They would have first done this March last year but for the pandemic. John Bostock also called up.2
-
One of the more bizarre call ups... Ben Brereton (Blackburn Rovers) has been called up by Chile0

Chris Gunter makes the Wales squad for the Euros
Jonny Williams, Dylan Levitt and Matt Smith (2020) are also in it, but Tom Lockyer misses out having been injured at the end of the season. Tom Lawrence, Rabbi Matondo and Brennan Johnson also miss out.

Says a lot about the depth of their team... They dont have an Ashley Williams at the heart of their defence anymore and the likes of Ramsay and Bale arent getting any younger with no clear talent to replace either of them, instead two midfielders who havent exactly shone in either the Championship or League One
Wont be surprised if they go back to the struggling version of Wales again after this tournament.3 -
