Well done Conor, but it would have been ridiculous if we hadn't called off our game today, and lost Coventry to a call up so close to the kickoff.
  • Congrats, Conor !

Conor Coventry called up by Ireland for the game against England
But... But... But... Charlton fans can't see what he brings to a League 1 side!

This just proves that Charlton fans no more about football than international managers...
Simon Church used to get called up for Wales.

It never proved Charlton fans were wrong in thinking he was shit

Jamaica lost 4-2 (5-2 in aggregate) to USA last night. Karoy Anderson came on as a sub in the 73rd minute when the score was already 4-2 and Kaheim Dixon was unavailable as he lost his passport

Poland v England 1-1 and Small was an unused sub.
  • So Small, Coventry and Dixon were all called up and didn't, for one reason or another, play a single minute between them.

Small came on as a sub in the first game he was called up for.

Dixon also lost his passport. So unable to leave the good old US of A.   🤣🤣

NJ updated on the Dixon passport issue in his press conference. His passport was nicked here, he had a temporary passport to get to Jamaica but no visa to get into the USA

No visa. That makes it sound even more odd. I would have thought that the Jamacian FA would organise these in conjunction with the player. I find it hard to believe players are just told to get a visa!

Perhaps the visa was issued with details of the passport that was stolen.

Yeah the issue was getting a new visa for the temporary passport
