Hard to work out what we want from that one, but a draw seems most attractive on the face of it
Purely from the perspective that it is two dropped points for them in a game that both would hope to win. And it matches our result at Cardiff which was on paper a more difficult game.

That said, three wins and three defeats will be infinitely better for us than six draws from now on.

I'd prefer Middlesbro to thump Hull by 0-3.

But then Boro would go above us. We need more than just Hull to be struggling, especially with Huddersfield winning tonight

We only need 3 teams below us tho

    Hull and Stoke struggling
Barnsley and Luton already 6 and 5 points behind us respectively and now Wigan as well going 8 points behind us

Warnock taking charge of Boro they will get out of trouble so would rather they won tomorrow

But it would increase the points difference between us and 22nd.  Having three teams below us looks good until you realise that a single win each by the clubs below us puts us one place above the relegation zone.
  • Of Wigan and Weds get deducted 12 points and Boro beat Hull then suddenly you have 5 teams 4+ points behind us and Hull in free fall.  2 more wins to stay up looks a decent bet at that point IMO.

We don't need to worry about Middlesbrough. They won't go down now Warnock is there to sort them out.

We want an away win tonight so it keeps a 4 point gap and demoralises Hull even further.

They did and we weren't that special on the day although it wasn't a 4-0 'thrashing' as such. The last two goals coming on 90 minutes plus after we'd thrown the towel in. I was at the game and average player marks in the statbank were not surprisingly  4.98.

We really need Middlesbrough to win tonight. Doesn’t matter if they go above us by 1 point, Warnock will keep them up anyway.

It’s far better to have one team out of the two staying as far away from us as possible and it will help cement Hull’s place down there. Especially when Hull’s next game afterwards is away to West Brom.

It would mean 42 points from 41 games for them. That’s then another team highly unlikely to get anywhere near 52 points. Meaning another 6, as I said yesterday, should be enough.

Anything but a Hull win is a good result for us, so I'll take that.

Why wasn't Hulls centre half red carded for the penalty challenge?

Double jeopardy, don't get a red unless it's dangerous if its a pen.  I think?

Certainly a lot of urgency about this game.
