Why wasn't Hulls centre half red carded for the penalty challenge?
Double jeopardy, don't get a red unless it's dangerous if its a pen.  I think?
In the penalty area if you are the last man BUT genuinely trying to get the ball (and not a serious misconduct foul), it's a yellow card and penalty

If you just pull the player back (like David Luiz) it's a red card and penalty

  • There was no attempt to play the ball by the Hull player for the penalty, he pulled him back in front of an open goal. They should be down to ten men.
  • Boro all over Hull. Come on you Reds.
  • That Roberts is doing a bit too much each time he gets on it.
  • You can see why we're all down this end of the table.
  • Djed Spence looks a handful. 19 as well.
  • That free kick was perfect.
  • Not saying he could've saved it but the keeper's dive was a bit odd, just sort of flung himself at the post.

    Full on retarded flop.
  • Hull losing Kane is a blow for them. Hopefully Middlesbrough are a bit more ruthless in their chances in this game.

  • Hull forced into 2 subs at 2 seperate times in the first half.

Limits what they can do in the 2nd half
  • Another Hull player lost to injury?

They can still make three stoppages can't they as these were enforced?
  • Kane look like he might be out for a while?

    Can they?

I was watching a game the other day cant remember which one and a team made a sub due to injury in the first half and the commentators said they only had 2 stoppages left in the 2nd half to make there subs now

Would be weird if they could make extra just because they were  inforced lol, othsrwise surely if you have run out of stoppages a manager could tell a player to pretend to be injured so he could make an extra sub?
  • As far as I know...

Hull can make changes at half time and then again only once in the second half.
  • Hull are so so poor.
    Can't see them staying up
  • What if you had a player injured in the first five mins? Then another after 10? Then another after 20?

Are you forced to play with ten men until later so you can save your subs up or would you have to make all of your subs by 20 mins? Seems like the kind of situation where exceptions should be made.
  • Draw is the best result IMO! Anybody who thinks Boro are automatically out of this just because they have Warnock is slightly deluded! They are just as bad as Hull!
  • It's a snore fest! Assomba has got the deftness of a hippo!
We look like world beaters compared to these two sides.

  • I’ve only just seen that Hull signed Wilks permanently today, so he’s now available for last 6 games. That’s a shame.

But then what does a club if that were the case when only three subs can be made - You get plenty of incidents in games were teams are forced down to ten men due to injury

Of course its usually later in the game but I reckon there will be a scenario one day when a team gets three injuries in the first half so cant make anymore subs

Hell it almost happened to us against Bristol City last year when we lost Forster-Caskey and Field within minutes of each other midway through the first half
  • Josh mcguiness has the first touch of a walrus in the mating season.
  • Agree in normal circumstances but the idea of giving five subs in the first place was to provide extra rotation for fitness reasons.

Seems silly to me to enforce restrictions to the point where you only get three subs (because who’s going to make unnecessary changes after 20 mins?) and the other team gets five.

For Hull? - He was awful against us

He's the sort of player that is class in one League yet cant make the step up to the one above it
  • Shocking game! Both teams look dire! Watched boro stoke at weekend and boro were no better then! They are not out of this scrap!
  • What do we want here, a draw or a Boro win?

Either way it's good that it's not a comfortable win for them, with them able to rest players
  • Borough win all day

    Draw
