Just for once please let the football gods allow us a victory tomorrow night and not just a slim hang on to your hats 1 nil but something that's says fuck you Millwall... Like 3 nil!

Is it too much to ask?

    Probably!
How long you been a Charlton fan for - Five mins?

We're treated as the toilet seat by the Football gods

I've said this on similar threads.....the 6 pointers all seem to end up with 1 side winning rather than a draw. Everyone down the bottom are beating teams & no one is on a losing streak. Stoke have now dropped into the bottom three after a terrible result the other night but will undoubtedly win at the weekend.

Think a team will need at least 52 points to stay up......maybe even 53 or 54.

Good luck with the absolute joke that is the bottom half of the Championship. Don't think I've ever seen so many teams in the mix with so few points separating them.
After we smash you 5.0 tomorrow you can come and join the party
I'm magnanimous in defeat and victory.

    Is there a theme?

If we win I'll let you choose the theme.
I'll be smashed out me nut

We can't rely on anyone now... Its completely nuts... I still think Hull and Boro will struggle and Stoke must have been complete pony if they lost to boro.
We just need to worry about ourselves! We are better than these teams around us, I truly believe that! Hulls run in horrific, as is Stokes! Think how luton and Barnsley feel let alone us!.... this isn’t even taking into account the desperately unfortunate Wigan!
Problem is we can’t score goals. 5 in two games for ‘pony’ Hull

I worry that wigans point deduction will be withdrawn through force majure
We shouldn’t be worrying about other clubs points deductions and in a way I hope it is because the players and fans don’t deserve it. We stay up we stay up on merit not because of some other teams points deduction.

How many points did they get with those five goals?

Can score all they want but have still conceded as many as they've scored

4 points from 3 games which ordinarily is not bad for lower table team and may be enough to keep them up if they continued the same vein.

And yet we've got seven points from just two goals

End of the day doesnt matter how many you score - If you cant keep them out of your own net then your going to struggle to pick up points

I'm confident we'll stay up even without Wigans potential deduction.

Put a couple of quid on those results in an accumulator and it'll be a double whammy happy outcome 😉.

I’m more in the Reading and Birmingham win and then have nothing to play for against us mode

    I can't decide what's best for us

Ditto tomorrow when Boro play QPR

Reading GD's is much better than ours, whereas Brum's is worse, that could be important too

I think Brentford and Fulham will win but the other games are so hard to call.
Just has the inevitable feeling that Barnsley,Luton and Hudds all win just to make it a cracking weekend.
While its in our hands, to get 6 or 7pts that i think we need, i wont panic too much. Im still  50/50 that we will stay up but if we dont beat Reading i will probably be 60% we are going down

Unfortunate for Wigan but as long as we're not 12 points behind them come the end of the season we'll be safe.

For me I’d like a Reading win. That would surely put Luton in deep doo doo and very likely for them to go down. You’d be asking a lot of Luton to pick up around 11/12 points in the final 5.

Have to admit we could do with both Luton and Barnsley losing.. We could then allow for Wigan to be the third team depending on them losing a few starting at Brentford.

I dont care how we survive or feel sorry for Wigan or Wednesday if they get pulled in so be it. We need to stay in the Championship and keep LB... Failure is not something to contemplate.

Agreed, I find it most strange that plenty of people actually want the bottom teams to pick up points at the expense of the mid table sides.

Definitely feel sorry for Wigan, but Wednesday? Nah, cheats, plain and simple
