He has never looked at trying any of them apart from Barker, and that was forced on him. He then was dropped and never even got a chance on the bench when we had major defense injuries. A young player does well then you surely keep him in around the squad and try and nurture that?
He don't seem interested in doing that and it's bothering me. All good managers should recognise good youngsters and at least give them a chance0 -

Although posted it, it’s not that impressive, for most of it he’s running into open space. Leko and CBT have driven forward at pace, even Clare has done it occasionally.Cordoban Addick said:

Wiredu reminds me of Camara at Plymouth.
Tall, athletic, technically sound, can carry the ball and really help teams dictate a game.
We need another younger central midfielder with a bit of bite about them.
Under contract beyond this season we have Dobson, Gilbey and Clare. Signing Wiredu back would be a good move and would allow us to let go of those who either aren’t playing, are too old, or won’t make a contribution to the team.
Also, as much as you might be tempted to play him away from central midfield because of the attributes he holds, you’d be taking away the strength of his game and to the team if you did that. He’s a midfielder, let him thrive in that position.
We haven’t even him signed yet, that’s if we even want to 😅6 -
I think we do, one issue we have is being reluctant to sub Gilbey, Lee or Dobson off. With JFC out and Clare needed at RCB we can only bring on Watson or Morgan. If JJ rated them he’d be using them far more.ct_addick said:We don't need another midfielder

He always looked decent, with the moodiness of youth, as he came through at Charlton. There was an unpredictability in his play and he was never easily shoved off the ball.0

Changes made on the coaching staff some time ago MAY make him more open to the idea of a return but I doubt it.0
