We'll be in Birmingham or at the ground by around 12.30. Where's everyone drinking before the game? New Street/Snowhill or near the ground?

The Fan Zone outside the ground welcomes away fans and has alcohol available with the bar closing 30 minutes before kick-off. The designated away pub is the Vine, which is a 15-20-minute walk away from the ground.

I think Birmingham is an underrated place for a session, some good pubs near New St

Agreed.  The Shakespeare is a belter and there is a decent one round one of the back streets close to New Street station (know where it is, but can't remember the name of it).

8 of us on this train.
Not the best one to get if I'm honest.
    About 10 stops.

Don't forget Luton away at Brum so new street may be busy.

There is nothing at the ground.

Try the Bullring Tavern 5 minutes from New Street at the top end of Digbeth.

You won't get in there(with colours) as Birmingham are at home tomorrow.
  • China town is decent for a drink.  They have a Wetherspoons there as well.

On the DJ Coach with @The31YearMan and my father and the usual collection of big hitters like Olly Lewis and Les Turner, coach left Larkfield 7 years ago.  Will be plenty of Lemon Drizzle going round and irrelevant musings
