McGeady would be a great short term signing2

One of the best two players in league one last year.
The other one we are trying desperately to keep hold of.
Was gutted when I saw him coming on at Wembley and thought it was game over. Good player and Bowyer rates him from previous comments.5 -
With Maddison likely to be off to Hull, McGeady is a decent alternative.1

Has everyone put the plastic sheets away or are they still on standby?0

McGeady would mean Morrison’s a def no no now, agreed?7

Just chatting to a Mackam mate, he said they've been playing a lot better now the team isn't built around him. He also mentioned that he has been disruptive to the younger players. Hopefully Bows can give him a kick up the arse.2

Hope he was speaking to him on his deal phone and not super deal phone2

Apparently Hibs have also shown an interest in McGeady.

If you think of McGeady as a Kayal replacement then it makes sense. Kayal must’ve been on good wages too. Hopefully McGeady would play more minutes than Kayal.1

McGeady, Docherty, not filling me with confidence at all0

Oh0 -
McGeady might have an outside chance of getting into the Irish squad for the Euro play offs. But he has to play and he’s not getting much game time at a Sunderland so...4

Not overly whelmed by McGeady, but proof will be in the pudding. Wonder if that was on Matt’s deal or the super deal phone?0

I haven't followed every word Bowyer's been saying but think he said he wants 'bodies', and the two named meet that criterion in the guise of footballers. We are getting what we need on that basis.1 -

Super deal would be something like JCH or Maddison. I think we will get JCH. We are just about 24 hours away from finding out, at least we know it won't be boring now0
-
In December Parkinson banned McGeady and told him to train on his own because, he said, he was a negative influence on the dressing room.0
-
I think if we kept Taylor and signed JCH then we would comfortably stay up. £1m is not a lot.8

I like McGeady but 33? Bit of a gamble0
-
Maddison and JCH, a CB on loan and these 2, and I'd say it's pretty good business. Problem is it's looking more likely that these 2 will be the only incomings and we might still sell Taylor2

Age is not an argument, especially as its only until the end of the season. Pratley will be 35 in April13

It will be goals that keep us up.1

McGeady has played 21 games this season for Sunderland, scoring 6 times.
2 -
Will he be fit enough to add to the matchday squad though? ..... hasn't played for 6 weeks.
Another one for 30 minutes off the bench.
