Looks like Bows and we will be seeing some of what we have hoped for all window - signings! Fingers crossed at least one other, a striker before midday to give us another threat in tomorrow game vs Barnsley.

Signing McGeady would assume we could be shifting to a 4-2-3-1 formation more often. McGeady, Doughty, and Green all capable of playing wide, as is Williams.

We shall see, but certainly gives us that option to switch it up formation wise if we need to.
I've been saying this for a few weeks. We have been targeting players who got that formation rather than a diamond. Not sure why the switch but trust bow.

With Timmy Abraham joining them it looks like he's on the way out.

Still can't believe someone named their kids Timmy and Tammy.
Kevin and Jason actually, their full names are

    Kevin Oghenetega Tamaraebi Bakumo-Abraham

    Jason Timiebi Ogheneobrucheme Bakumo-Abraham

  • Got the day off today, told the Mrs not to expect tea on the table when she gets in. Going down the Southall road and surviving on snacks and hope.

Reckon Aneke is the loan player Rovers are after?

My brother in law, from his first marriage, has daughters named Gina, Tina and Dina! Must be a South Carolina thing.

I still think we need to give him a chance if he gets fit.  Granted, he hasn’t had the most auspicious of starts, but Bowyer and Gallen must’ve seen something in him they like

I see this place is a bit more chirpy this morning which is good. So much business was always going to get done on the last day, always is. Really hope we can bring in JCH and keep Taylor.
Feels like we are actually part of it for once.

A loan to League 1 might get him fit and firing again. With no fault of his own, the injuries have meant he’s lost his way with us.

    Possibly but i'd keep him.

Perhaps give them Morgan and Davison.
  • Not sure if anyone has posted this but do we think it’s a goer? Be pissed if it happens.

If Southall wants to seriously fall out with Bowyer then yes, it's a goer.

I can’t see it. Not for £3m anyway.

I was sceptical but I now don’t think they’ll sell Taylor:

I honestly belive it's up to Lyle (we all know it actually isn't) at least not till the summer. However I feel if he looks LB and MS in the eyes and says look I want to go that will be it and they won't stand in his way. I hate to say sometimes football is about more than just what the fans want to see.

I have a feeling we can afford (financially) to let him rot in the reserves for 6 months if he so chooses and I hope that sways his thought process.

Am "working from home today". Hoping  for a big one.

Am out tonight though so knowing me I'll miss all the action.

That serves no ones interest though... Would be different if Lyle's contract wasnt up in the summer

The smart thing would be to offer him a 6 month contract on what Brentford are offering him. Cheaper and less risky than any other possibility.

The smart thing to do is offer him an 2 and a half year deal, on what Brentford are offering but with a release clause that is valid for the 1st 14 days of every window.

Cawley also said we wouldn't be doing a deal last night.

2 more would mean our squad is only +1 from where it was.

I’d take that right now tbh
