Sarr: 4 - gets given the ball far too often as our playmaker or more accurately their playmaker. gave the ball away on numerous occasions. got beaten several times as well on the left. slow at getting back in position. a couple of good challenges and passes. Solly: 4 - like everyone else on the field couldn't clear or pass the ball. some good defending mixed in. Pratley: 4 - lost his man for the goal. awful most of the time with the odd interception. Gallagher: 4 - run around like a child in the playground. lucky he wasent sent off. Doughty: 4 - needed the ball to feet but no one knew how to do that. Purrington: 3.5 - going up the wing where he did nothing and leaving sarr exposed was not a good idea. didn't really notice him much. Solly: 6 - He had a good game, solid against their winger and got forward as much as he can, but an absolutely shocking clearance at the end. Pratley: 6 - The midfield was a struggle for us, but Pratley is key to this team as he gives us a steel, and smart tactical fouls. Gallagher: 7 - He was the bright spark, there was one point in the 2nd half, we were playing rubbish, Gallagher single handedly chased down their back line and lifted the team and the crowd. Doughty: 6 - Had some good moments, maybe not ideally suited to midfield, left wing seems a better position for him at the moment. Purrington: 5 - Limited in what he offers Leko: 6 - He had one of his better games, worked hard (although I think he tries to measure his efforts) Bonne: 5 - Nothing really came off for him today, worked better alongside Taylor. I thought Solly was one of our best outfield players, Pratley a bit too laboured but we don't really have much alternative at present. The whole set up was a bit too defensive for a home team, also a massive sickener to lose at the end, not sure how much the ratings will affect that last minute goal but we wasn't great.
Wow just read all the other ratings for Solly, I guess that's down to the goal that lost the game. Tad harsh considering he had a good game other than that IMO

Sarr: 6.5 - Defended ok and seemed to make more of an attacking contribution that some of the more advanced players. Solly: 5.5 - Defended ok until his mistake. Had his shot brilliantly blocked. Pratley: 6 - Lots of effort and tried to get his foot in. Gallagher: 5.5 - Lots of effort but lost the ball a lot, especially early on. Thought he was lucky not to see red. Doughty: 6 - A couple of flashes. Might've been better as a wing-back. Not his best game but we've got a good one there. Purrington: 5.5 - Defended ok but offered very little in forward areas. Not suited to wing-back. Leko: 5 - Not a good game. Didn't appear to have any understanding with Bonne. I think he's knackered. Bonne: 5 - Not a good game. Looked a bit better when Taylor was with him. I think he's knackered. Referee: 7 - Had to go with his linesman for the off-side. Thought he could easily have red-carded Gallagher for his high foot. Not his fault the players were off-form.
Taylor: n/a - Looked sharp. Think he will start on Friday.....then has an extra day to recover for QPR. Vennings: n/a - Obviously lightweight but buzzed about. One good dart into the box and another one who looks like he can play and will benefit from a loan to anyone Conference level or above.
Bowyer; - The Vennings v Morgan sub did look weird. Morgan had two decent cracks at goal v Cardiff and another one v Boro. His first goal does seem to be in the offing...but he's got to play. Maybe he'll get a chance Friday.
