No excuses any more it was a poor performance all round - only Phillips comes out with any credit (minus a point for poor distribution), the formation doesn't help and yes there's loads of injuries but too many of the basics weren't there:
failure to close the opposition down and win second balls
poor ball control
sloppy wayward passing
strolling back after losing the ball (Yes Naby if you're going to take it past the half way line and then give it away don't just wander back an watch the counter attack!)
needless fouls and holding (Pearce in particular stop grabbing hold of players - in this league they go down like they're shot it you lay a hand on them!)
