Bearing in mind what happened last week, when we lost the plot after the three substitutions and only just beat Barnsley, I'd start with Hemed and bring on Taylor after 60 minutes. Then Mcgready for Williams and Field/Davis for Pratley shouldn't weaken us too much. I'd happily take a 1 - 1 draw as Stoke are no mugs.

Someone on twitter says he's been ill but no idea if that's true.

    He is unwell.
  • Only allowed 5 loan players
  • Slightly surprised Stoke body search their home fans as well. Imagine how long it would take to get in if they did this at The Valley!

Shame McGeady didn't get a few minutes last week but hopefully he'll be fine for midweek.

Amazed at the optimism on here. No away win for 5 months. Hope you're right of course.
Probably has something to do with the core of our team being back fit. We were doing very well when they were all fit. Why should we expect any different?
    Yeah you know best.

Because now we have lesser quality players. Davis is nowhere near Gallagher's ability.

Davis should be rotating with Pratley and Field with Smith.

I did comment on the post match views thread that it turns out you were right.

But I think Bowyer is more to blame than anyone given his poor formation and player selection choices.

Sometimes we need to admit we were wrong!
