The Fans Bar has a small bar down the end that doesn’t seem to be used on match days. The Fans Zone could have a marquee/big tent attached to it. Most fans tend to go through the turnstiles and immediately walk away from them either towards the bars, the toilets or pitch side to their seats. I would have thought space could be found near those turnstiles. In fact, wasn’t there a kiosk or something for placing a bet in the lower north once upon a time ? I’ve not noticed it for a while though TBF I haven’t been looking for it.fenaddick said:
In what space on the concourses do you think that could happen? There’s probably some room in the Covered End but both the Curbs “concourse” and West concourse are absolutely rammed before KO and during HT. Fans bar is often standing room only and the fan zone is busy too. The reality is the shop needs to be bigger but there probably isn’t spaceletthegoodtimesroll said:Isn't it about time the club starting setting up matchday retail points / desks or whatever within the stands, the Fans Bar and the Fans Zone to make purchasing at least some items more accessible to purchase for fans ? Not everyone wants to queue up to simply get into the store and then queue just as long again to pay.
Fans bar has a little merch shop at the very end, on the right just before the stairs to the players lounge.
Fans bar would be a good place, but so close to the shop so no real point?
A stall in the AC would be good - limited space as others have suggested0 -
Unless they could find a way of utilising the space up by Lansdowne Mews of course, pretty big gap there to slot a portacabin intosammy391 said:letthegoodtimesroll said:

I’d rather they just concentrate on a functional website first.2

That’s rather out of the way and would get poor footfall…..also not that easy to get to, something of a fair old slap for most.sam3110 said:

The Valley Superstore will temporarily close from Wednesday, October 22nd, allowing the retail team to process a stocktake.
The in-person store will re-open for usual business on Saturday, October 25th, while the online shop is now closed until 11am on the same day.

Well we are playing Wrexham soon, so they need to know how many half and half scarfs we got in stock :-)cafc999 said:Another stock take?4 -
Maybe. It shouldn’t take 3 days to count the number of shirts they still have so it.could well be the boxes of Bovril. The cold weather is coming in after allcafc999 said:Another stock take?0 -
A few years ago the portacabin inside the AC stand gate in Harvey Gardens housed a club shop. Now used for match day operations I think but the ideal place for a second outlet. Club are missing a trick going by the amount of merch the guy opposite the Club shop sells.sammy391 said:letthegoodtimesroll said:

Edit: just re-read the announcement and online availability is TBC. Very frustrating, I don't have time during the work day just to down tool and travel 30 miles to Bluewater or 40 miles to the club shop. Hopefully it will be available online very soon as history shows these can sell out in days (the 90/91 home Woolwich top got announced, put on sale and sold out all whilst I was on a 4 day break in Portugal)0 -
The game tomorrow? Probably trying to get people in the store pre match to sell this with additional add ons they find whilst in there.randy andy said:

Just phoned the club shop. Tried to order over the phone, but they can't take payment that way. So they've put on aside for me and my brother in law will pick up and pay for it tomorrow. Bit of a pain as it means transferring money around, etc., but at least I'll get one.cafc-4-life said:
