Best three, consecutive albums

Prompted by @golfaddick and his nomination on another thread of Revolver, Rubber Soul and Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, I wonder if Lifers have their own favourite list of three consecutive albums by one act or band.

    Ash - 1977, Nu-Clear Sounds, Free All Angels. I'd say Ash were more of a singles band, but plenty of quality throughout these albums, even if the middle one is underrated

    The first two were so good that most people (including me) see Be Here Now as a much weaker album.

    Now if the order of release had been Be Here Now, What's the Story and then Definitely Maybe it would likely be seen in a better light.

    All three Springsteen trios posted are valid, I think.

    In conclusion, it would appear that the Boss really is the boss.
