@The Prince-e-Paul .. Check out Boris's new and more 'flexible' rules regarding meeting one relation /friend away from home .. it's a long drive but if it is possible, do it .. in any case, Happy Birthday Alan even though you won't be reading this
Pjs/dressing gown/slippers/glass of what you fancy/eat what you like when you want and thoroughly spoil yourself !
Our eldest grandson is 16 today and although he's at home with his parents, sister & brother, it won't be the celebration he was hoping for after his exams.
The main thing is that you are safe and know that you are loved.
Just an aside from a fellow technophobe to say that I can cope with Charlton Life.
However, more to the point my wife's Aunt was 80 nearly 2 years back and one of her great nephews gave her a tablet as a present. She had little or no experience of computers before that. She now sends us all emails on a regular basis and links us to various websites she has discovered on a regular basis especially during this 'lockdown' thing.
It would be interesting for many of us to read your memories of the forties and fifties at Charlton if you do sign up. There is plenty of 'non football' chat too.
This time last year you had a brilliant birthday present with that first leg win at Donny , this year evens it up , ying and yang and all that . Highs and lows , that's what following Charlton is all about .
Enjoy your day , people are a pain in the arse anyway !
