Best of luck to the bloke. I think he may do very well in a team that knows what system it is playing. Always worked his nuts off for us, goes with my best wishes.
Rotherham are a yo-yo team and he can play alongside Michael Smith. Conor record in the Championship is poor but maybe at 30 he can have a good season. He certainly got in more scoring positions last season once he played more central. The Lincoln match when he missed 4 good opportunities probably not only cost him a new contract but didn't help JJ cause either. To create 7 chances when we only had 10 men was decent but to only score 1 goal is poor finishing.
When Conor missed his 4th chance late on, I jumped up and "Putin's people" my thick paper back hit the head of a man sitting in front, I'm sure the small padded bag it was in softened the blow but unfortunately he choked on a walnut he was eating and as I said my apologies and left, his mate was doing the Heimlich maneuver.
Never forget. Some people on the released thread describing him as average mid table League One level and thinking he might go to Wimbledon with Jacko..!

He is average league 1. He must have a good agent.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I doubt he will score more than 5 in the league next season, excluding penalties

...or maybe Paul Warne & team at Rotherham know more about what makes a good player than the average bloke on the internet.

Rotherham probably have a smaller budget than clubs like Ipswich. Not convinced he’d have got a Championship move had traditionally bigger clubs got promoted to the Championship instead.

I don't know what he was like as a team mate, but he seemed to give the fans everything he had when playing.
Hope he works hard & becomes a favourite in Rotherham.

Football is so full of heartache.
So there we have it. He had an offer from Rotherham very early so assumedly we would have had to match it to have a chance of keeping him.
Pathetic decision based on him embarrassing Martin Sandgaard
Good luck to Conor, always worked his bollocks off for us and will do the same for Rotherham and in a higher division.
I suspect that he would have stayed if we had made him a reasonable offer, I didn't get the impression he wanted to move.
I'm not over concerned about losing him, only that I have no confidence we'll bring in someone better

If he starts for them they will struggle, simple.
