Strange side IMO. Bowyer doesn't seem to be a fan of Albie or Williams
I don’t see it as Bowyer not being a fan of Williams. He’s well aware Williams can’t play a full game, and prefers him to be an impact player coming on at the hour mark, rather than playing him from start and then subbing.

Strange he’s not on the bench instead of Vennings? Not surprised he’s not starting.

Attacking team but still madness JW cannot get into a L1 team.
Agreed. He is head and shoulders above everyone.

Can only be due to fitness/risk, surely?

    There's a gameplan.

Williams is pencilled in to have an important role to play in Part 2.

Going to Celtic, instead of Alfie.

They think he's a LB.

Do people really think he's that good? He never seems to do very much but win fouls.

Perfect when you need to slow the game down or get bodies into the opposition box - Its what won us the game against Barnsley after all last season

Look at Doncaster as well last weekend, we kept giving away silly free kicks so it allowed them to slow the game down and kill any tempo we were trying to build, which to be fair was very little

Would argue we need to do it a lot better as a side overall and is something we need to be a lot more clever at doing

Barker back in over Lapslie, LB must rate him
I'd have given him a bit of time out after that own goal, bringing him back in against Brighton - He must be impressing in training

Dont forget with the embargo lifted there was nothing to stop Bowyer from selecting Mingi etc. ahead of him
It's the best thing for him, getting him back in the saddle.

He gets the message loud and clear that Bowyer has faith in him. Great boost to the lad.

Agree. Best thing to do is play him. He only scored an OG, not like he had a total nightmare.

If he was that good, he wouldn’t be playing in League 1...

Wouldn't disagree with any of that, but it was said that he was head and shoulders above the rest, which I think may be an overstatement

If he was fitter and had less injuries, he wouldn’t be playing in League 1...

It's odd, he's too good for this level and should be one of the first names on the teamsheet.
Jonny probably is one of the first names on the teamsheet.

    Subs list, every time.

With his injury record and the treatment he tends to get from the oppo you can see why Lord Bowyer may be a tad hesitant in giving Willo a starting spot.

He should be able to do a fair amount of damage in the last 30 minutes or so against a tiring side especially as we're back to three available changes instead of the five we had at the arse-end of last season.

So ...... whatever happened to, "Adam Matthews is at the ground (Friday) and is one of 3 players signing".

Half of CL seem to have been expecting it to be on the OS this morning.

    Anyone ITK ..... ?

Was there a particular reason we are playing today rather than yesterday?

Lincoln played in the cup on Thursday.

Bloody hell, these adverts are getting on my tits!

Poor old Tel and Greg must be talking to themselves half the time, no sooner do they start saying something the coverage cuts away to more ads.

It wouldn't be so bad if it was free to view but we've spent cash for this!
