The weighting on all of those balls were lovely, interesting that they were all near identical as well. Hopefully Shinnie can link up with Johnniesta in the same way.
The number of midfielders we have, Jonny will be watching from the subs bench
I love a good through ball. Doughty, Williams, Smyth, and Washington should all appreciate passes like that if we can consistently work the space for them.
Who is that player for us that attacks the six yard box ? Don’t really see Bogle or Washington in there ?
Thats what I've been saying all night. Hopefully its Smyth.......if not there might be a few swear words in the Golfie household over the coming months when cross after cross goes to waste.
Exactly the type of pass we've been missing. Now, the question is, do we have the quality in the fullback and wide positions to get good crosses in, and perhaps more worryingly, do we have the forwards and midfielders to convert on those chances?
Very good signing for me. Was impressed with him at this level two years ago.
Another rave review from a Luton fan, actually the editor of Hungarofoot website, who helped us a lot re Ujpest in the network days. I’d say he knows his footie, more than I do, so big thumbs up from me.
Didn’t he get sent off for Luton at the Valley the day we broke their humungous unbeaten run? Seem to remember he was rubbish that day but hey ho, we need bodies. Can’t offer any less than Oztumer.

Bit harsh judging him by a game where we out played their entire team. How does an individual stand out in that situation?
He was no worse than the rest of his team that day. First yellow I think was quite questionable. Red card didn't affect the game at all.

I didn’t say he was rubbish. I said he was rubbish “that day”. I’m well aware of Shinnie from his days in Scottish football. I’m interested in why he’s having to take a downward step at this stage. Maybe all Covid situation related or maybe he’s just past his best. Or maybe he’s not and we’ve nabbed a bargain. Only time will tell.

I suspect it's more the case that he's wanting to play fairly regularly and feels he has a better chance at L1 where he's proven himself instead of having to fight for a place in the Championship. I get something of an Andy Hughes feel, he's still got something to offer even if that's not necessarily being the focal point of a team.
One of very few players to not have a highlights compilation on YouTube!
If a player needs a couple of minutes of clips from his career in order to attract the attention of another club then he’s not made much of an impression on his fellow pros, opposing managers or clubs scouts when he’s played

I believe we've just watched Bowyer's attacking game plan.
We can also see how Doughty and Smyth fit in, first time crosses.
Tin opener football.
*salivating over these killer forward passes*
