I think we’d love to, but believe Luton are paying the majority of his wages and how that would impact our wage cap is the big question.

Maybe Luton would pay a percentage of his contract up. If the loan is renewed they will be paying it anyway. 

At 31 he would be interested in a contract for next season and would probably accept a lesser salary.

The other side of the coin is Luton get relegated and will want to keep him for League 1.

Doesn't need to be renewed, he's here for the season. Although I agree, if they are paying say 3k a week for 20 weeks which is 60k, would make more sense for them to give him 40k and let him come permanently.

Also by taking the 50% cut in wages when joining Luton, it appears that he is more interested in playing than the best financial offer.

It's the usual minor strain that gets Charltonised so that the player eventually ends up being put down by the vet...

If he's doing upper body work to keep fit, I'd say he's still some time away.

Power in boxing work comes from your legs, through your core and only the final push comes from the upper.

If he's doing boxing he's in a good place, but impossible to say how soon he is to return.
