  • I imagine Greenwich Council may have wardens in the surrounding area tonight. Parking restrictions apply until 6.30pm.

There are temporary traffic lights in Charlton Park Lane near the cemetery. Has been causing longe delays today.
  • I have butterflies. COYA!
  • Are you aloud to sing and or shout during a game, is  that under covid restrictions.

I saw the video about not bringing bags etc if possible - Does anyone know if we're able to bring flasks? That free hot chocolate won't last past kick off!
I'm assuming it's advisory, rather than a rule. I'm not going out without a bag and refreshments on what will be a LONG evening!
Clear bag allowed if you need to carry necessary items.
Could be tricky if its a colostomy bag.

By the way, if you see some dickhead filming other fans without looking at the game at one point, that's probably me - I've been asked to get some footage for ITV of fans in the ground.
Make sure you capture your old man singing.
And asking the people who are handing out hot chocolate whether it is vegetarian.

If so, have to hum loudly!

If you arrive after your allotted time will you still be allowed entry I have 6pm so have all of my friends
I hope so, cause my tickets say 6 but there's no way we can be there before then.

Anyone know if kids also need ID or just the adults?
I would think that the ID is to show that you are the season ticket holder on this occasion and I think it unlikely that children will be asked for ID, and most children won’t have any.
If your children look old enough to be mistaken for an 18yr old I would get them to bring a bus pass, school pass, driving license or similar to prove their age.
  • PWR I guess it's already been mentioned, but CAFCCash now reinstated for purpose of purchasing stream

I saw rules on the BBC, you can sing but there are things u cant do like touch the ball.

This is from the BBC link

Supporters will be allowed to sing in support of their team - but must remain socially distant.

However, there are some key differences to the matchday experience for those going to the ground. Fans will be told:

    • not to touch the ball if it comes near them;
    • not to approach players for autographs and selfies before or after games;
    • to wear face masks as they enter the stadium and go to their seats.

Assume all those without STs, moaning that they couldn't get a ticket, had enough points to get one of the few remaining?
My sole gripe at the moment is I'm in T3 yet cant use my CAFC Cash to get the stream for tonight

Havent been able to do it for a few days now - Am sure it'll get sorted (at least I hope) but us in T3 appear forgotten
Pay cash for the stream direct and get money  back later . You may have to wait until the end of season.  If you miss a game in a set tranche  you still have to pay. However  if the money  is not there or you couldn't access it in time you could have a case for a reclaim.
Yeah its what I would have done, thankfully the club staff have continued to do wonders working these last few days and have now made CAFC Cash available for tonight's stream

Be curious to know when I'll get the code

I suspect that the Tuesday night Brizzle Rovers game will have tickets available for non season ticket holders as well, seeing that it's 3 days after a Saturday game
I'm beginning to think that the Millwall system of two game blocks may be the way ahead, People are balloted for both games together, winners must book for both or forfeit & option given to losers to book both & unclaimed tickets are offered on to people via the priority scheme.
Season ticket holders have paid for a season ticket & should only be using the opt out system only for medical/ covid restriction reasons, it is unfair to the club & other supporters for people to be selecting which match or day they prefer to attend.
That makes far too much sense and is too inclusive, ST holders have paid and that's all that matters ;)
Here you go again...Covid makes a difference...being over 70 makes a difference,  having kids who can't  go may make a difference.  We put money in up front and were promised we would not lose out...infact about  1 million which must have helped the club. Bowyer said they couldn't afford new balls near the time TS rescued it.
There would not possibly have been a club with out us but all you do is complain about ST holders who find they have to opt out. Bloody cheek.
    Bore off Victor.
  • Those cold steps of the East Stand are leaning me to a two pairs of socks job.

    important matters...

Why can’t we all just be equal. Fed up with this constant sniping. ST holders this season are no better than fans without, the same as fans without this season but who have had a ST for the last 20 years aren’t any better. The shit we’ve been through as fans these past years and still people can’t wait to find something to aim a dig at others.

    Elliott had it covered.
  • Is Freeman going to attend?
  • Sad I know but having logged in to the Valley pass broadcast to check it was working, it is already broadcasting.

From what you can see of the Valley from around the central banner, it looks pretty spectacular under lights.
  • PWR I guess it's already been mentioned, but CAFCCash now reinstated for purpose of purchasing stream
Bit too late now. Bought my ticket for a tenner around 4pm.......got an email 10 mins later saying my CAFC cash was now ready to use. Funny, because back in October I wanted to purchase a ticket at just after 3pm on the Friday (for a Saturday match) only to be told I was too late as it had to be 24 hours prior to kick-off. Seems I can't win whatever I do.

And before anyone starts I'm not having a moan. Just pointing out the inconsistencies. I completely understand why there has been a delay in uploading the CAFC Cash & the club have been brilliant in getting 2000 supporters in this evening.

Just hoping there will be some form of refund sometime in the future. As Golfie jnr has just said......its only a tenner dad !!

    Is Freeman going to attend?

    Yes.

Fluff Freeman, Thomas Hardy and Bob Willis will be all be watching from above and they didn't have to go into the ballot.

Yes, thought they were a bit ott really with the arrows, having to only walk down one section of the open air East stand concourse
  • All fine so far, staff friendly, helpful and easy to get in, Hot chocolate wasn't watery a bonus, seen @BartramBlitz and @northstandsteve outside.

Lots of press about, almost as many as fans with tickets!
