I have to say Stone looks pretty poor to me.
If all the England pace and seam bowlers were available I'd have him at about 10th pick at best.
that's why Anderson & Broad will be selected until they can no longer walk .. when they are gone, the cupboard is pretty bare .. Archer has been 'promising' for 5 years, however his fitness reliability is on a par with good ol Jonnie Williams ..

Overton and Robinson will honestly both be in this team before long. Can both bat too

Woakes and S Curran can both take up the mantle of new ball swing bowlers, both can bat. Archer has been nursing an elbow injury since the ashes, he can give it a whack, now Ollie Robinson looks pretty decent. Then you’ve got wood as another bowler with an X factor. Don’t think it’s that bad tbh

Bracey must be having one of the worst series by a debutant ever so far. Painful.

I honestly think he's just about the worse keeper I've ever seen play for England.
I doubt he will play again concidering how many keepers we have to choose from.

It's only 1 game and I admit to not having seen him play before, but he looks nowhere near good enough to be England wicketkeeper.

A bizarre pick to take the gloves, when they have Billings in the squad. Wicketkeeping is a specialised position, too important to give to part time or inexperienced keepers

Think Alex Davies from Lancs deserves a crack over Bracey

This. First time I saw him was the 1st Test & thought England must have called up a sub wk. Has dropped far too many & cant even bat either.

What's happened to Buttler & Bairstow ?  I know Foakes is out injured but surely we must have someone else available. Pope even.

Stone is certainly a wayward lad .. BUT, he'd do a lot better if (e.g.) Root concentrated and held his dolly catches

Ben Cox of Worcs is another brilliant keeper who is never mentioned, or probably ever heard of

Done well to last that long tbh - a cardigan in this weather won’t be helping.
