Stopped looking at the table about 3 weeks ago. Give Bowyer until the end of the season, if it carries on, have a clear out. Been bad for ages now, aside from a 6 game run.
  • Jeez ... listening to Bows on Valley Pass and he sounds like he's asking to be shown the door.

When asked about Maddison and possible injury: "Don't know, don't care! You shouldn't jump out of tackles and then say you're injured. I'm not having that."

    That is brutal.
Do you know, I'm seriously wondering if Bowyer is after a pay off .

What other possible reason can there be for picking such lop-sided teams and then continually throwing your players under a bus - the very people he needs to rely on.

I don’t wish a player injured at all, but I’m so glad we didn’t pay money for someone like him.

Is it any wonder why players like Maddison, Williams etc doesn't give their all, play well one week than dropped the next

One other thing: The most startling statistic on Sky's coverage was that on the number of team changes made so far this season. We are "top" of that league with 58 changes this season; Accrington were "bottom" with just 14. Just goes to show what a settled side can achieve in terms of cohesion and team spirit. Here we are in January and Bowyer has got no idea of his best formation, best tactics and best team.

Edit : posted before reading and note that this point had already been made a few times. Apologies.

    Injuries Injuries and more injuries
shit defence and with our proper centre backs it could have been a draw as their Goalkeeper was on a promise.
in all fairness Accrington played very well and had
     belief in themselves.
its easy as “ forever addickted” said to blame LB,
and only a dick head would blame tonight’s result on
    LB.
  • When a manager says he does not care about a players injury you have to question it. If that was said it is a shocker
    He did say it.

    And it was a shocker.

I can't believe Bowyer's going to come back from that.

I suspect Bowyer's post match comments will cost him his job .. it's been obvious since the arrival of Maddison that Bowyer doesn't like him .. BUT, any pro player will not tolerate the total slagging off of a fellow pro .. if Bowyer hadn't 'lost the dressing room' before this game, he has now .. Is Sandy in the country or away in the sun ? .. Only his absence will prolong Bowyer's tenure .. he should be toast tonight, his comments allied to his recent incompetence show that he is no ;longer 'managerial material'  .. I take no pleasure at all in typing this

Nothing like a loss to bring out the howls of OTT outrage. Sack Bows, Gallen is suddenly useless and so on.
Of all the finger pointing blamers, not one commented on how useful Millar looks. I was ticked when he was taken off, tbh.
We had our moments, especially in the first half, with two pacey wingers and I thought we were on to something but too many passes and especially crosses lacked the quality required, although there was no lack of effort. Accrington gave us a lesson in how to defend and overall were much better organised as a unit. Two shambolic moments in our defence and Bishop took his chances. That's it.
I don't think it's the end of the world.

Even against AFC Wimbledon, and Plymouth where he made game contributing contributions - when asked about them Bowyer preferred to talk about his defensive side of the game. And then he barely played him afterwards.

    Its piss poor man management.

Makes me laugh after a string of awful performances that the same excuses are trotted out.

I’d bring in Curbs to work with LB....at least Curbs could halt a slide
  • Terrible game, even worse than Hull. You wonder how much more of this TS is going to put up with.

Why was it every rebound and deflection fell to their players?

Why do we keep taking short free kicks, and keep doing this ridiculous short passing in our half? Every game it doesn’t achieve anything, and more often than not invites pressure.

Players always looking to go back rather than forward.

We’re 2-0 down and 7 minutes of injury time left and the back four are just passing it three yards to each other.

Why do we try to play intricate one- twos in the area rather than crossing for the strikers?

How many times were we in a promising offensive position and then we ended up going backwards towards our own box?

What was the difference today compared to the Wimbledon game when Jonny Williams came on and changed the game? Williams came on today and offered very little.

Accrington could have scored more than 2 and it wouldn’t have been undeserved.

This. Only way I can see him playing is if we get a new manager in.

Bowyer won’t be with us come the end of the season. Odds on the new Manager being a Dane? I wonder..

Millar looked very bright in the first 20 minutes, and then after they doubled up on him only managed to have fleeting success. Look liked he could be useful, and I'm excited to see him again, but lots of people today making him sound like he played like bloody Mane!

You are a member of a small and diminishing group of BOWYER apologists. Your like the Trump mob...... totally brainwashed that he is the only man for the job.

Football is a funny business Lincs, depends what’s going on behind the scenes. No reason to think the players won’t bounce back and take it on the chin.

Maddison is a waster, blaming Bowyer for naming and shaming is shocking. He is dead right about some of those players, the kids like Maatsen Morgan you can pass off as a learning curve but time and time again senior professionals like Williams, Maddison and now Pearce have let him down. Pearce knows he's playing next game so instead of wacking the ball off for a corner he tries a chancy header. Bowyer is paying the price for injuries, suspensions and having to cobble together a side with a bunch of players nobody else wanted, who are simply looking for a pay cheque.

Woaaaaaaaaooooowwwww... Bows lost it, how can you scapegoat Maddisson!?!?
Bowyer losing all respect now with that ffs
Keeps my respect for that!!... He picked out Williams for it @ Shrewsbury, doesnt do it tonight when Maddison does the same and he looks a prick to Williams

Tonight shows its never personal with him
Genuinely don't get your stance mate. Your happy to slag off players, and for the manager to do that publicly, but you get so wound up if anyone does for Bowyer. Why do you think he can do no wrong?
Because its the players out there making the mistakes... They're grown adults, what do they have to do wrong for people to stop blowing the sun up their arses?

I've seen performances like tonight where the players would be jeered off the pitch with chants of: "Your not fit to wear the shirt" - But its only ever the Managers fault on here
If a manager in any walk of life cannot motivate their team and openly criticises them, their morale will be bad and performance will follow.

If that manager then also asks members of the team to constantly do different jobs in different ways any team will fall apart.

    This is on Bowyer.

He needs to go tonight, the interview was a car crash.  Nothing he said was wrong but it was the way a fan talks not the way a manager whom needs to go back and have the trust and faith of the team talks.

    Make Pratley player manager.
